It's more the people who reinforce the idea that girls are supposed to be vapid and void of any intelligence, making the girls feel like they /must/ play dumb, who need to be hit in the face with a brick. reply

The word god doesn't refer to the Christian God. It refers to a generic god. Stop trying to enforce you religion on everything please. reply

Why doesn't it capitalize Harikhrisna? Why doesn't it capitalize Trimurti and Tridevi? Why doesn't it capitalize Adi Para Shakti? Just because you think Jesus Christ is your savior doesn't mean he is "the God". There are thousands more. Enlighten yourself. reply

Because the word 'god' isn't referring to the one Christian deity God.
Look it up - the word 'god' is defined as "a superhuman being or spirit worshipped as having power over nature or human fortunes; a deity."
Besides, it's not a proper noun.
I mean, the word 'goddess' is the exact same, but it's not capitalised either. reply

no offence but if apple did that if would look as if they were only catering towards christianity, when other religions are just as important. reply

It's due to the fact not everyone is talking about one god. It's an unusual word in the fact that if you are talking about the alleged one supreme God, you capitalise it to show that. But you may be talking about false gods in which case you wouldn't capitalise it.
You could always just edit your settings so it automatically capitalises the word god if you like. reply
