Im right there with you...you may have heard about it because it made national news, but in february there was a high school shooting right down the street from us. I had friends there and the whole entire school day I was just ready to cry because I didnt know if they were okay or not :( it was so scary.. reply

Ohh, I'm so sorry to here that, beautiful! Try something new. Try new sports, find a new obsession, make new friends, go to new events, travel around the world, simply do something which will take your mind of cutting. Cutting is usually caused by feeling lonely and useless, so what about this: Get together with a bunch of friends you can trust, and simply do something. Go to an amusement park, eat dinner at some nice restaurant, or something like that. Or you could (as mentioned earlier) try a new sport, maybe like dancing or something that you love. Trying a new sport will hopefully take your mind off of it, and instead you'll be focusing on the sport. You can also do stuff like, swimming, bowling, go to the movies, or something simular with your friends. I hope I helped! reply

wear a hair tie or a rubber band on your wrist. every time you think about cutting or are tempted to do so, pop you wrist with it. Or everytime you want to, draw a picture on your wrist.
For the pills: Keep tic tacs with you. every time you think about taking pills, take a tic tac. hope this helps. reply

try something new (like a hobby) to get your mind off of it. Maybe reading or gardening or something like that. Keep yourself distracted. Good luck :)
