That's a good point(your last sentence). Even though race is such a complex kind of thing, a lot of people do seem to forget that he is just as much 'black' as he is 'white'.

I agree with your last sentence. But I also believe that the same is true for Romney as well. At least be objective. On the other hand, if Obama was instead "O'Riley" and this race was white man vs. white man would you still be for Romney? Just something to think about. And just so you don't think I'm biased, I actually would vote Romney if I was 18 and had to choose. Because I believe in one man, one woman. I'm also black:P

Thank you for understanding that I wasn't intending to be . If his last name WAS O'Riley but he still had the same viewpoints, I'd still vote for Romney. I really do not care about the color of one's skin; orange, white, black, pink, does not matter to me. Some people seem to forget, though, that Obama is only half black, haha, he's actually part Irish too.

I'm not for Obama. And I'm not for Romney. Honestly I don't think either choice will benefit the country much. But this quote is like technically invalid considering that when you look at the scheme of things in something as big as a country, you won't see the effects of things for years. Just becaus the debt is now 16 trillion dollars doesn't mean that that debt is from the effects of entirely his own administration. You have to be honest and say that the financial decisions of the Bush administration are now being realized.
And on him being "too rich", I think you took it the wrong way. Or maybe you're a very 'rich person' yourself. When I hear most people say that he's too rich they mean to say that because he doesn't have the problems of most working class Americans he can't entirely feel their pain. And how could he? And it's not just Romney. The majority of Congress are millionaires. And I'm not expecting them to be poor, but could you really expect them to sympathize with those less fortunate? It'd be rather hard.
Obama tried to raise taxes on Americans with a higher income. People screamed bloody murder. He tried to make affordable health care. People screamed bloody murder. Who was screaming bloody murder? The people who didn't need the service or would take a cut. And I'm not poor, and my family doesn't qualify for government aid, but many of my friends do, and I would like a President who would look out for everyone.

I don't think anybody really "hates" you. And how would they know if you didn't tell them? And I think this quote sounds kind of stuck up. Just my opinion.

@iwalkonwater PLEASE. People got burned with acid, sprayed with tear gas, beat, killed, hung, tore away from their families, and were forced to be SLAVES. You compare that to name-calling??? Shoott, everytime I go to a fancy store I get fricken FOLLOWED because the discrimination gets to be so bad. When I run the concession stand at school I will walk to customers and get IGNORED by grown ADULTS and have them go to another worker. People look at me and asume I'm STUPID. People talk to me like I'm trash. I hear jokes. I get called names. I haven't killed myself YET. I'm not saying suicide isn't a big issue, but just because people aren't nice to you doesn't mean they "pushed" you to it. Yes, I've heard of gay bashing and that is NOT the solution. But neither is telling them it's okay. Or bashing ME for stating MY opinion.
@AwesomePossm69 Screw your lack of "rules". Why don't we keep religion in this? I don't know if you realize it, but I have the same right to an opinion as you. And you're calling me ignorant. Funny.

W-o-w. That would be a sad time that something that everybody should KNOW is wrong is accepted by the majority of the population. And you call that "discrimination"? Please. Go sit down somewhere. Consider what happened to the Jews and the Blacks. You think petty name-calling and people telling them they don't support them is enough to be considered as discrimination? Funny.

I agree with you to a point. All you can do is look at the little commercials on TV and not think twice about it. But when it's people you know personally it makes it kind of different.... But I do agree with this, people need to stop comparing. But also we should be grateful for everything and not wallow in self-pity all the time. Because if we do, what are they gunna do? Just drop dead? Nahh, life goes on.

This quote is dumb. I agree with ThePurposeOfLifeIsToLiveIt. I'm in the same situation. FYI putting your anger on other people is not a way to solve your problems. Like seriously, I'm not calling curvy people 'fat', so don't call skinny people 'bones'. I'm athletic and healthy and don't have a problem with my weight because it's not affecting my health. And if yours isn't affecting yours either than pleaseee stop mess like this.
