When I was 17 my best friend Tucker called me and told me to go outside
When I opened the door I saw a note and a single flower on my porch.
The note was the contract we made in kindergarten saying we will be getting married when we were both 18.
I am now 43 and still madly in love with that kindergartner.

I never paid attention to the 14 year old that runs by my house every morning.
But I was bored one day so I stopped him to talk.
He told me that he ran 8 miles every morning to visit his girlfriend, who was recovering from a suicide attempt.
He couldn't drive, so he was talking online classes to make up for school.

The drugs I need for my kidney transplant are giving me memory loss.
Last night I realized I didn't remember my boyfriend saying 'i love you' for the first time.
As i cried, he said he would make me fall in love with him every day, all over again, if he had to.

Today,
A skinny long-haired golden retriever mix came running up to my front door and i ran out to see who's he was. He didn't have a tag, so i got him some dog treats and he ate them in literally 2 seconds. My mom came out and i asked if we could keep him, she said no and called animal control. I sat with him for 20 minutes waiting for them to show up. When they did he stayed by my side, the person came to him and put a leash on him. They put him in the truck and he was staring at me with puppy eyes, whimpering. I told my mom how witty works and we agreed that if i get 100 faves she will call in 7 days to see if he's still there and bring him home. Please, click the [♥] for him...
