We read books to get away from our life, our boring day-to-day activities, and we love reading of a wild adventure following a certain character. Because of this we make a connection to the character and we desire for that character to get intimate with another character. We love reading of someone elses love life because we can feel the emotions that come with that relationship but don't have to deal with the stick situations ourselves... The ideal relationship fantasy :'3
And as someone has said previously, it would be impossible for the writer to do such a complicated job. How would they go about it? They'd have to somehow explain why the character "loves" the reader which means some sort of charaistic has to be given which will separate some of the readers from this ideal mate the character is supposedly talking to. I just believe its a awful idea.

Eh, I have to think up a plot first, though. I've done stuff similar to that before, except the character, at the end, proceeds to yell at the reader and call them useless and all that.
