Trust Me
A 1D Fanfic
Chapter 17
I followed the boys through the studio and stopped at the door.
"Liam I'm gonna run to the gym... I'll be back in about 2 hours."
I told him. He nodded his head, looking confused, but kissed me quickly before walking into the booth and shutting the door behind him. I walked over to the bush by the door and grabbed the bag of clothes I had stashed there in case I ever needed them, like now, then I walked 2 blocks down to the gym. When I finally arrived I went into the locked room and I put my hair up in a pony tail and changed into my tshirt and shorts before proceeding to the main gym. I was stunned for a moment, taking in all of the equpitment surrounding me before I spotted the weighing scale. The last time I wieghed myself was at the doctors a few days ago and I weighed 130, which was too much for my liking. I walked over and stepped on it, waiting for it to electronically calcualte my weight. After about 8 seconds a number flashed across the screen.
'150'
It read, I starred at it for a moment. I has lost 15 pounds.
'Thats way too much'
I thought to myself, walking over to a machine that would work on my abdominal muscles. I set the weight to 100 before pulling the weights forward, then back again, forward, then back again, causing my abs to feel the burn, but I knew that it would get my body looking the way it did. I pushed myself into doing 30 reps, a number too high and dangerous for me to be doing, but I proceeded anyway, completing 3 sets. Once I finished I got up, already feeling sore, but I pushed passed it, and walked over to the tredmill. I slipped in my headphones and then I stepped onto the machine, setting it all full incline and top speed and began sprinting, watching the amount of calories burned increase. I must have lost track of time because what seemed like 30 minuites was actually about 3 hours.
"Carly?"
I heard someone say. I slipped my headphones and looked to my right, seeing Liam standing there.
"What time is it?"
I asked him, slowing the tredmill down before shutting it off, stealing a glance at the calories I had burned which was 2567.
"Its 5, you've been here sense 2:30."
He said, giving me a strange look. I hopped off the tredmill. I felt my body about to colaps but I acted like nothing was wrong.
"Sorry guess I just lost track of time, let my just change and shower quick then I'll meet you outside."
I told him, walking him to the door before running into the locker room, where a second scale was located. I steped on a waited for a second before the number '100' flashed across the screen. I nodded, somewhat happy with this number, but it needed to be lower. I stepped off the scale and hopped into the shower quickly, washing my body and hair, before putting my jeans and shirt on and running out to the car.
"Took you long enough!"
Zayn joked as I sat in the car next to Liam, taking a drink of my water. I laughed before turning my attention to Liam would had started talking.
"Well we decided we would go out to dinner tonight sense you seem to be feeling better."
He said, looking at me. I nodded my head, not wanting to say I wasn't hungry so I faked a smile to asure everything was okay. We drove for about an hour until we reached the restuarunt. We waited for our table until a man walked us over to a private area, reserved for the boys and I, we all sat down and ordered drinks, the boys all getting beer but i ordered a water.
"Okay now what would you like to eat?''
The waiter asked, asking all of the boys first.
"And for you young lady?"
He asked politley.
"Umm I just take a sald with light italian dressing please."
I asked, returning the kind attitude. He wrote it down, and told us he'd be right back. The boys all looked at me.
"What?"
I asked, as if I had no idea why there we're looking at me like I was crazy.
"A salad. Just a salad?"
Niall asked, as if I were insulting his eating habits.
"Are you feeling okay?"
Liam asked, putting his arm on my sholder, which was more boney than a few days ago. I could tell her was suspicious, but I continued with my lie.
"Yeah I'm fine, just not that hungry right now."
I said, taking a sip of my water, trying not to make eye contact. He pulled his hand away, resting it on his lap as if he were scared to touch me.
"Mhmmm."
Louis said, sounding sassy and sarcastic, as if he didn't believe it either. I looked back down at my hands, looking bonier. I looked back up and saw the waiter come with our food. He set our individual plates down in front of us and I ate my small salad, slowly chewing the food, feeling descusted as the calories slid down my throat and into my system. I took a slip of my water after finishing my very small dinner.
"Are you sure you're okay?"
Liam asked again, sounding concerned. I couldn't let him know I was lying. I put on my best smile and replied.
"Everythings just perfect."
Authors Note:
For all of you girls that are reading this, 130 pounds is NOT a heavy weight, I'm just choosing this because the mian character feels that she is heavy when she actually isn't (: and I know that her weight dropping is unrealistic but thats okay(:
