Bipolar Lovestory
Chapter 1
i sat in my moms car and listened to the radio. "sofia we'll be there soon and you'll have to help unload everything". i looked out the window ignoring my mom. i had given the whole family the silent treatment for a week and i wasnt going to stop anytime soon. i sat there thinking about my friends and how i had never gotten to say goodbye to them. i thought about my house. my REAL home and how i would miss it. as i sat there thinking about the life i was being forced to forget sadness overwhelmed me. suddenly the car stopped. we were here. my mom spoke up interruppting my thoughts "sofia there are nice boys that live right next door they have been helping us unpack maybe you could new make friends in this town and start over". i rolled my eyes knowing that the only one who needed to start over waz her. i got out to unload my step dads truck which was parked behind us. i climbed up on the tailgate to see the property all at once. we were parked behind green house which i assumed was supposed to be ours, right next to it waz a blue house on the other side towards the front waz another blue house. all of the houses were connected by sidewalks so they were easy to see. there waz one other sidewalk that connected to mine but i couldnt see were it went because of trees. i waz still looking at everything when somthing grabbed my leg. acting on instinct i flipped backwards off the truck and kicked whatever it waz in the head. i looked down to see a boy on the ground who looked about my age stunned from the kick in the head. "dude that waz soo kewl!" he said jumping up. i stared at him confused "guys did u see that? it waz so kewl!" suddenly two older boys came from around the other side of the truck and stood next to him. the youngest one had dark skin and a buzz cut he looked to be about twelve, the same age as me at the time, i could see he had a big red mark on his left cheek from my kicking him but he waz giving me this wierd look like i waz pretty or something. the second boy who looked to be older than the other two seemed extremely odd with glasses, dark curly hair almost down to his shoulders, and dressed in all black. i absently wondered if he realized it waz texas in late august and wouldnt get cold until about late november. the last boy waz the one i paid the most attention to he had a light tan with brown hair he had a pair of shorts on and a tshirt but what i noticed that was most important-- he was REALLY cute. the little one spoke up first and said "guys did u see that! she's a ninja! shes even cooler than bryce!" at this the cute one looked up. "sofia!" my mom yelled, "come help me with this?" i brushed past the boys to go help my mom. i started putting the last boxes in the rooms they were supposed to go. i was putting one in my new room when the boys came in again "is this your room?" the oldest one asked. i nodded. "i told you she waz sofia!" the little one said. he looked at me "im dakota and this is chris" he said pointing towards the big one. "where's the other one?" i said. "josh? he'll be back later." chris said. "hey by the way nice jump earlier" "thanks i guess" i said.

when everything was unpacked dakota and josh offered to give me a tour of the property. after they showed me everything inluding josh's house behind the trees i tried to absorb everything they had showed me. it was dark out so i couldnt really see anything and was completely lost. "any questions?" dakota asked me. "um why is it so big?" i said. he laughed and explained to me that it used to be an old rehab center back in the day but it went out of business and they were turned into houses. exhuasted they took me back to my house so i could sleep. dakota said bye and went home (which turned out to be the house next to mine) and i waz left standing with josh. "well goodnight" i said turning to open my door. suddenly he grabbed my arm and whisper in my ear "you are protected" and then he waz gone. figuring i misheard him i went into my room and passed out.
