She didn't care about him but he cared about her. He cried everynight because the girl of his dreams didn't want to be around him. He told her he loves her and she laughed at his face. She bullied him for months just because he had feelings for her. He couldn't take it anymore and he took his own life. The next day she wanted to apologise but it was too late.
