I told myself
to forget and move on.
What is wrong with me, it’s at the point where I just want
to scream into my pillow and cry,
but it’s funny, cause I can’t cry anymore.
I cringe and hold myself every night, repeating in my head,
“Tomorrow is a new day, tomorrow is a new day,
go to sleep, and you’ll be okay.”
Breathe in and out, in and out.
Deep breathing, calm, serene, and peaceful.
