me and my friends got in trouble for hugging once the vice principal pretty much called us lesbians it was so awkward.
oh, and i've gotten in trouble like 5 times for READING in class like honestly wtf. gosh what a terrible person i am, READING in SCHOOL? the nerve of me o.o

No, but there is a separate elective program you can opt for if you want. One of my friends who is in it says they are practicing writing college applications essays...
