More Than This
Chapter Six!
I turned around to see who was behind me. "What do you want!" It was the guys Louis and I saw here over the weekend.
"We have properly met. I'm Jesse." He said, teasingly taking a bow. "And this is Owen." Owen looked over from behind him and smiled. " And you are?"
"Hannah." I said flattly, still not completly facing him, so he would take the hint that I didn't want to talk to him.
"So how do you know our friend Louis?" Jesse asked.
I turned around. "He didn't seem like your 'friend' last night." I said crossing my arms.
"He used to party with us." Jesse said.
"Not here." Owen pointed out. "That's why we were surprised to see him here."
"He was a fun guy." Jesse through in.
"What do you mean?" I asked in disbelief.
"We could get you two a drink if you want." Jesse said putting his hand on my shoulder. "We have a ton in the truck."
"Get off me!" I said shoving his hand from my arm.
By now we had Niall's attention. He ran over to us. "Whoa!" He said stepping in front of Jacey and I. "Leave them alone, okay?"
"And who's this?" Jesse asked. By now I could tell he was drunk. "I don't think Louis would be happy if he knew you were with him." Owen just sat silently looking at the floor.
"Dude, just stop okay." Niall said, stepping a little closer to Jesse. Jacey and I were close enough to Niall to know that he'd always be willing to start a fight, but just wasn't tough enough to follow through.
Jesse punched Niall in the face and he fell to the floor. Jacey and I knelt down to help him. "A$$hole!" Jacey screamed at Jesse.
"I just wanted to give your girlfriends a drink." Jesse said innocently.
I stood up and got right in his face. "Just get out of here okay! We don't want anything from you."
Jesse put his hand on my shoulder and put his forehead on mine. I just stood there, starring at him with a dirty look. "Common." He said. "It's fun." I pushed him away but he just grabbed my shoulder. Suddenly, from behind me, someone came up and punched Jesse just as he'd done to Niall. It was that surfer, Liam.
"Back off." He said intimidatingly.
Jesse scrambled to his feet and ran out the door. Owen stood up, apologized, and followed behind him.
"Thanks." I said a little bit embarassed.
"Do you know that guy?" Liam asked.
"He's a friend of a friend." I told him. Niall stood up and stood next to me.
"Who's this guy?" He said, frustrated.
"This is Liam." I introduced him. "Liam, these are my best friends, Niall and Jacey."
Liam put his hand out to shake Niall's hand. "Well godo thing he was here to save the day." Niall said sarcasticly, ignoring his hand shake. "I'm gonna head out." and he stormed out.
