"How's you first day
going?" I asked Niall when I passed him on our way to
the bus.
"Great." He said sarcastically. "Asked for
directions today from a senior and they told me it was on
the 3rd floor."
"Well it was nice of them to help you!" I said
smiling.
"We don't have a 3rd floor." He reminded
me.
I just laughed a little. "Common, we have to catch the
bus."
We made it just before it pulled away. We took our
seats.
"Brooke's away this weekend." He told me.
"Wanna hang out?"
"Can't." I said, which wasa weird switch.
He's usually the one that's busy. "My friends
Cali, Louis, and Chase are coming over this weekend.
Sorry."
We live on the same street so we both got off the bus and
started walking home. He usually comes back to my house for
a short time, but I had alot to do to get ready for Cali,
Louis, and Chase and their families.
When I got home, I blew up 5 air matresses. One for Chase,
one for Louis, one for each of their parents, and one for
Louis' little brother and set them up in the basement.
Cali sleeps in my room when she comes over of course. I
could hardly wait to see them! I pulled out some snacks and
drinks and just sat in my living room waiting to see
Cali's families silver mini-van pull up. Suddenly I
heard a knock at the door. I sprung up from my seat on the
couch and ran to the door. I flung the door open to see my
sister, Becca standing there with her car keys in hand. I
opened the door for her.
"Someone's excited!" She said teasing me.
"Cali's coming!"
"And Louis, right." She said, still teasing.
"I bet he got cute."
"Oh shut up!" I yelled.
"Okay, fine. I bet he's ugly then!" She said
laughing at herself.
"That's not really any better." We both
laughed. I looked out the door and saw 3 cars pulling into
our driveway. One was the mini-van. I sprinted outside and
Cali hoppede out of the back see. I went to give her a huge
hug we crashed into eachother and fell to the ground.
That's pretty much our usual greeting. Then I saw
Chase. He came over and helped me up leaving Cali sitting
on the ground. "Hey!" She said laughing.
"Ew." He said (joking) and walked away. While I
helped Cali up I saw someone come out of the other car. He
looked familiar. But it couldn't be. I know it's
been years but there's no way someone could look so
different so fast. It was Louis. Do you ever have those
moments where you haven't seen someone for a long time
and they're suddenly hot?
This was one of those moments.
