I went to my locker when I got to school and grabbed out my books for my lessons in the morning. I closed the door and almost jumped out of my skin when I saw Jake standing there with a smirk on his face. I put my hand to my heart and looked at him.
“Oh my god Jake, do you like scaring people, or is it just me?” I asked
“Hmm I think it’s just you” he said winking. Did I mention Jake is a major flirt?
I rolled my eyes “What’s up” I said changing the subject as we walked to class
“So i don’t know if you’ve heard but there is a masquerade ball next week, and I was wondering would you like to go with me” he said. I stopped for a minute. Did he just ask me out to a ball? This is the first time I’ve ever been asked out. I thought about it for a bit.
“Yeah sure, I’d love to accompany a man-sl/t to the ball” I said smiling innocently
“Very funny Tori” I laughed at him and continued walking. “See you soon” he screamed out
It eventually came to lunch and I met up with Savannah in the cafeteria line.
She had this stupid grin on her face, something was up.
“What?”
“I heard someone got asked to the ball next week” she said grinning from ear to ear. I sighed and rolled my eyes
“Jake told you”
She slapped me on the arm “yes he told me silly, oh my gosh, we need to go shopping, buy dresses, and masks. EEK. This is gonna be so exciting, I cant wait” she kept on rambling on and on until I stopped her.
“Who are you going with?” I asked
She blushed a bit “Uh-um-uh. Oh you know, um Jason, asked me before, and I you know, said uh yes”
“Do you like him?” I asked her and she blushed again
“Pfft n-no” I looked at her and raised my eyebrow. She huffed “ok fine, yes I do like him. A bit”
We went and sat down. She’s just too cute. Jake came and sat down next to me smiling.
“yes Jake?”
“What? I can’t sit with my date?” I looked at him with a dull expression
“No, now move” I tried pushing him off the table but he didn’t move.as I was pushing him he slung his arm around my waist and lifted me up and placed me on his lap.
“tsk tsk. Tori. What do you think you’re doing? If you wanted to sit on my lap you could’ve just asked” he said winking his hands still around my waist
“Let me go” I said moving around
“Nope”
“I said let me go” but he still didn’t move
“say pretty please”
“pretty please”
“say Jake is the sexiest beast in the whole entire world”
“Oh hell no. you wish”
“Say it, or else you will never be let go” I sighed
“fine. Jake is the sexiest beast in the whole entire world” he smiled satisfied with my answer, and let me go and pushed me off the seat, making me land on the floor. Savannah and Jake were laughing at me.
“Very funny” I said. I got back up and sat on the other side.
And I just HAD to say yes to this jerk
