On Sunday December 17, 2012, 2 days after the Connecticut shooting,
a man went into a restaurant in San Antonio to kill his ex-girlfriend. After he shot her, most people in the restaurant fled next door to a theater. The gunman followed them and entered the theater so he could shoot more people. He started shooting and people in the theater started running and screaming. It's like the Aurora, Colorado theater story plus a restaurant.
Now aren't you wondering why this isn't a lead story in the national media along with the school shooting?
There was an off duty county deputy at the theater. She pulled out her gun and shot the man 4 times before he had a chance to kill anyone.
So, since this story makes the point that the best thing to stop a bad person with a gun is a good person with a gun, the media is treating it like it never happened.
Only the local media covered it. The city gave her a medal.
Just thought you'd like to know.

My favorite part of the Hunger Games is that the books aren't supposed
to be all about the love triange, yet that's the only thing the media really cares about. Do you all realize that is exactly what the Capitol paid attention to? They're main focus was the love triangle and our media does the same thing. I don't like how similar these two are becoming. Seriously, stop.

The media loves to talk crap about celebreties
but my favorite thing is that they can't find anything
to say about Ed Sheeran so he just gets worst dressed
    every time.

The media doesn't want to deal with that. You'd be surprised by how many People have no idea that this stuff happens. It would wreak havoc on the population. These people hide behind denial that evil exists. They're stupid people.

So yesterday I was reading this magazine,
I open the magazine and the first thing I see is an advertisement for weight loss pills.
I burst into tears. Media wonders why we think we are never good enough but it's right under their nose.

I hate when the media makes The Hunger Games look like a battle for love. Get your bullshit fantasies away. This is about murder, over powered government, and a girl trying to change the way things are. News flash not every girls fantasy is to find true love.
the irony here is that our media is doing exactly what the Capitol did in the books; downplaying the murder, focusing on the bullshit love story

IF IT WASN'T FOR HIM, THERE WOULD BE NO STATUS-QUO BREAKING, SUMMER TIME SONGS AND WORK WORK WORK THIS OUT MOMENTS.

Boys are idiots. Girls are idiots, too, of course, but boys are a special kind of idiot. A girl, for instance, will vote for a boy in an election, or go to a movie that's about a boy, or buy a book that features a boy hero (or villain). Boys are much less likely to return the favor. They can't wrap their feeble minds around the idea that this girl might have anything in common with them. It's like they can't recognize girls as human beings.

    Don't fool yourself.
    Put down the romantic books.
Look away from the romance movies.
    Forget the fairytales.
    Because this is real life.
Where people are not kind. They are rough. People don't actually care. They're just starving for gossip. No relationship will ever be anything remotely close to what the media has fantasized it to be. Stop getting your hopes up because you are setting yourself up for disappointment.

A man was taking a walk in Central Park in New York. Suddenly he sees a little girl being attacked by a pitbull.
He runs over and starts fighting with the dog, and succeeds in killing the dog and saving the girl's life.
A policeman who was watching the scene walks over and says:
"You are a hero, tomorrow you can read it in all the newspapers: Brave New Yorker Saves the Life of Little Girl!"
The man says: "But I am not a New Yorker!"
"Oh, then it will say in newspapers in the morning: Brave American Saves Life of Little Girl!"
"But I am not American!" answers the man.
"Oh what are you then?" the policeman asks.
The man says, "I am Pakistani."
The next day the newspaper says: "Islamic Extremist Kills Innocent American Dog."

You know what I do not understand?
How a peaceful march by nearly half a million people on the nation's
capital in the name of the pro-life cause gets next to no press coverage,
but a football player with a fake girlfriend is the top story a week.

    Social media tells me
that there has to be a lot going on
    while still standing still
    constantly moving forward
    and documenting that
while drinking thee and doing yoga
    But I'm still writing poems
with the soul purpose of getting laid
    and while my fitness progresses
    so does my waistline because
I started feasting where I used to starve.
there's a lot of loud going on in my life
    that I wish stayed quiet,
    wispered only to me
I should be the queen of this technology
but I feel more like a servant
so I log out and check into my brain
    it's still there
    and that should be enough
    no hashtag encompasses this passion
    no picture captures this disire
    and that should be enough
