The days we always traded gum and paper made ninja weapons.
The days I wouldn't give you gum, so you'd give me puppy dog eyes and say, "But we're b e s t f r i e n d s !"
The days you'd sit in the empty desk behind me in English, or touch our desks together so we could have 'top secret' conversations.
The days you wouldn't ask to borrow a pen in Health, you'd just take it from my binder, smile, say you'll give it back later and walk away. Then laugh at my "what just happened?" face.
The days we'd completely mess with each other in English, like when you sat in my desk and started using my binder and pen, or when there was a substitute and I took your paper from your hands cause I didn't know the answer to a question.
The days I almost fell asleep on your shoulder while we were waiting for our teacher.
The days your friends would tell me how much you like me and you blushed like c.r.a.z.y.
The days we'd fight over Unicorns and Gum vs. Gel Pens and Ninjas.
The day of the band concert, when you were saying "Don't mess up, but you're going to. So don't! You'll pull it off... Maybe. Just don't mess up and you'll be fine, but you won't be cause you're going to mess up. Kidding... Maybe."
The days you'd make your friends leave us alone in English cause you wanted to talk to me about my cutting, telling me I'm worth more.
The days you'd sing the awkwardest parts of random songs to me when I was stressed, then talk about how sexy your voice is, and act offended when I'd start laughing, but you'd always ask me, "Feel better now?"
