   Update:
   Hello witty readers!
   My story Fantasy and Family is a hit! Thanks to all my readers. Love you guys.
   So, I'm going to keep writing this story. But, I've been putting this story up on wattpad.com. My user name is still RAWR_IM_A_DINOSAUR. My profle is: http://www.wattpad.com/user/rawr_im_a_dinosaur. So, I'm going to stop writing my story on witty and write in on wattpad. This makes is a lot easier since on wattpad, since you can have more that 1 page and it is just for stories, like witty should be for just quotes. But, I hope I don't let anyone down. Just make a username on wattpad! It's fun and free!

   Chapter 15 (Part 2)
   Bryan came running out hugging my mom and me. It was so nice to see him again. We said our hello's and I went up to my room with Lucas. I was just going to jump into bed when the phone rang. I ran over to it and answered.
   "Hello," I said.
   "Hello, Katie," they said. They're answer was delayed for a good 5 seconds.
   "May I ask who's calling?"
   "This is Officer Barker from the Manoa Police Department. I called to tell you your scheduled date for the court trial." I stopped for a minute. Not sure what to say.
   "Oh…okay. When is it?"
   "In 2 weeks. On September 7th."
   I sighed. "Okay, thanks officer. I'll be sure to tell my mom."
   "Alright, stay safe Katie. Talk to you later," Officer Barker said and hung up.
   I had a sad face and went over to Lucas.
   "Who was that?" he asked as he hugged me.
   "An officer from the Police Department. She told me out court date."
   Lucas' face lit up, "Oh that's great! When is it?"
   I sighed again and said, "September 7th. That's my birthday."
   Lucas hugged me for a while until he had to go home since he hasn't been home in a while. I didn't want to go to the trial. I had no idea who the man was and I surely did not what to find out.
   Days have gone by since then and before I knew it, it was September 3rd: the first day of school. I was going to miss seeing Lucas a lot but now that we are official, I think I'll be seeing him a lot more.
   *beep beep beep* "Good morning, Philadelphia. It's a nice fall day out today. A slight breeze so bundle up!…" I groaned.
   I ran a brush through my wavy brown hair and put in a white headband. My outfit was already laid out from the night before since I knew I would be lazy this morning. I had on a pink and coral shirt with long sleeves, white jean shorts, white flip-flops and my gray hoodie (and of course, my pink sling).
   I headed downstairs, grabbed a muffin and went to the dining room table. My mom was in the living room sitting with a box of tissues and funeral plannings. My eyes teared up as I remembered Mike.

   Chapter 15 (Part 1)
   "Katie, your mother would like to see you…" a nurse came in and told me. I blinked a few times since my eyes were a little foggy. I saw my mom come in, her makeup all smeared and she was in a wheelchair. She had bandages all over her leg, but she had a huge smile on her face. I could tell she was crying, but she was happy to see me.
   "Honey, I'm so glad you're okay," she said as she hugged me.
   I sat up in my bed and said to her, "Mom, I'm so sorry. This is all my fault. If I had listened to your calls and came home earlier. It's my fault that Mike's dead." By this point, she was crying again.
   "No, Katie. It is not your fault. This is none of our faults. The man that came in definitely had it out for us. Who knows what he wanted-"
   I interrupted her and started crying, "He wanted us dead, mom!"
   At this point, I was screaming. Too upset to realize I had been too loud. My mom came into my bed with me and we laid in silence for 10 minutes. That made me feel a lot better. It gave me time to think.
   To break the silence, she finally said, "We're going to stay here for one more night. Aunt Tammy took Bryan and Taylor for the night. I'm sure she wont mind having them for another night." She sat up and started to leave.
   "Mom…" I said and stopped her. "Do you think we'll ever be the same again?"
   Her eyes teared up, "Of course. After we get back home into our normal routine, we will be fine," she said as she kissed my forehead. She left and I was alone until Lucas came back in.
   "I thought this would cheer you up…" he said and smiled as he held a bowl of chicken soup. I wiped my eyes, laughed, and took the bowl from him.
   "Thank you," I said and smiled. "I have to stay here for another night."
   "That means I do, too. I'll stay here with you tonight. I don't want you to ever be alone," Lucas said and held my hand. He was a sweetheart.
   By this time, it was about 8:30 and I was tired. I closed my eyes and fell asleep until the next morning when I woke up to find Lucas laying next to me. I decided to write in my diary again. I missed doing that everyday.

   Hello diary,
   Well, I just wrote in you yesterday but LUCAS ASKED ME OUT! He makes me so happy (: He stayed at the hospital overnight again. Well, he's just about to wake up again. I guess I should go..
   Lo-
   Lucas had woken up and I didn't get to finish my entry.
   "Hey babe," he said as he sat up and kissed my forehead. "Today you get to go home," he said smiling.
   I let out a quick laughed and nodded. The nurse came in after Lucas left and took the tube out of my arm. She replaced the bandages and gave me a sling that I have to wear for 2 weeks since they put 5 stitches in my arm. I picked a pink sling and stood up next to my bed, realizing I was still in my hospital robe. I quickly grabbed my clothes and got changed. Lucas came back in and helped me put up my hair in a messy bun.
   "Ready?" he asked.
   "Yeah, sure. Let's just go see if my mom's ready," I responded.
   I knocked on my moms door and went right in. She was already standing over her bed fully dressed.
   The nurse came over to me and said, "I gave your mother crutches since she still has trouble walking. Remember, no driving for her for a month. She doesn't have much feeling in her right leg."
   I nodded and went over to her. We grabbed her things and headed for Lucas' car. The car ride was pretty silent beside the country music from the radio. I knew my mom would be struggling for the next few weeks. I didn't know how I would help her when I went back to school. We finally got home and the house was clean. My Aunt Tammy had come over and cleaned it with Bryan and Taylor.

   Chapter 14
   I woke up in a hospital bed with wraps around my arm and a tube in my forearm. Lucas was holding my hand and Manda was sitting in the chair next to my bed. They had stayed there overnight. They were so sweet.
   "Katie, your awake…" he said kinda confused. Manda came over and hugged me.
   "What, did you think I was dead?" I said teasingly. I knew this wasn't the time to tease. "How's everyone?"
   "Your mom has a cut on her thigh, but she should be fine," Lucas said looking into my eyes.
   "How about Mike?" I asked nervously.
   Lucas looked down and was silent for about 5 seconds. He grabbed my hand tighter and said, "Katie, Mike is dead. He blocked a shot from hitting your mom and it went right through his heart."
   My eyes filled up with tears. If only I had come home sooner. If only I had answered my moms calls. I was starting to blame myself for this whole thing. Yet, I had nothing to do with it. I wiped my eyes with a tissue as Lucas came over and hugged me. His eyes were starting to tear up too. What did I do? I completely scarred my family. Traumatizing them. It was all my fault. I decided to take the blame.
   I told Lucas and Manda I wanted to be alone for a little. So they went to wait in the waiting room. I looked over on the side table and saw my diary, a pen, and a note from Lucas. I could tell by his childish handwriting. It read:
   good morning sunshine (:
   it's august 23rd at 6:27 am and your sleeping like a baby. manda is next to me and she says heeeeeeyyyyy. haha. by the time you read this, you'll be thinking about me and how i was so nice to bring you your diary. i knew it would make you feel better. well the nurses are coming in now to check on you so I better go.

   I smirked. I was still sad about losing Mike, but happy to know that my friends are there for me. I decided to write in my diary since I haven't in a while. We had a lot of catching up to do.

   Hi diary.
   You missed a lot. Well, first off, sorry for leaving you in Florida. Lucas got you for me. He's my lifesaver. Second, something happened yesterday that was traumatizing. There was a man in my house who killed my brother and hurt my mom and me. I'm not really sure what he wanted. It's not obvious that he wanted my mom dead though. Maybe even me. Who knows.
   Lucas saved my life though. He is literally my LIFESAVER. I really want to see my mom. She needs a hug. So do i.

   I started crying again. I knew my family would never be the same. I'm going to be the oldest sibling, the one everyone expects greatness out of. Great. Just another thing to hold me back, I though.
   *knock knock knock* Someone knocked on the door. "Hey…Can I come in?" It was Lucas. I could recognize his soft voice.
   I put my diary on the table and said, "Yeah, sure." He came in and the first thing I noticed was his sparkling eyes. They were a deep, but bright blue, kinda like the ocean.
   "Aw. Katie…" Lucas said softly. He could tell that I was crying since I still had the tissue on my eyes. He came over and sat next to me. "There's something I want to ask you, Katie…"
   I looked over at him and our eyes locked. "What's up?" I asked him nervously.
   "Well, I've only known you for 2 weeks, but I want to know if you'd be my girlfriend?" he asked smiling.
   I was so shocked that I didn't answer for a couple seconds. "You don't have to answer right now. I mean I know you're going through a lot right now. Just let me know," he said as he got up to leave.
   "Wait, Lucas." I stopped him as soon as he touched the doorknob. He turned back around and stood over me. "Yes, I would love to be your girlfriend," I said smiling.
   He smiled with all his teeth and kissed me on the lips with more force this time than any other. We were officially official. To be honest, I didn't know where we stood. We were sorta friends with benefits. But, now he's all mine.
   "And when you get outta here, I'm taking you to dinner." Lucas said with a smirk.
   I smiled and laid my head back on the pillow.
   Lucas tried to be quiet as I closed my eyes. "Alright, I'll let you go to sleep. Night honey," he said as he kissed me on my forehead with his soft lips and left out the door. I dozed off to sleep with a smile, then I began to cry again as I remembered the death of my big brother. I really wished Lucas was back holding my hand again.

   Chapter 13
   There was a man in all black holding a gun on one hand and a knife in the other. Mike was on the ground, motionless. I can't believe I had ignored my mom. I felt the guilt rising to my stomach. She could be dead for all I knew.
   I stared at the man and began to run. He followed me up the steps. Then, I ran into my room and locked the door. I didn't know what to do. This couldn't be happening.
   I heard the man slamming against the door and crying from my closest. I ran over to my closet and swung it open. Bryan and Taylor were sitting there terrified. I put my finger to my mouth telling them to be quiet and shut the door.
   Just then, the man had broken in and ran towards me, full speed. I fell to the ground. By this point, I was crying as he held the gun to my head.
   "Please, please don't shoot me," I cried knowing he would shoot.
   Giving up all hope, knowing my time was limited, until I heard a familiar voice say, "Get away from her."
   I recognized Lucas' voice and relief ran through my body. Lucas had ran towards me, tackled the man, and punched him in the face, leaving him unconscious. I, still crying on the floor, was too scared to open my eyes. I felt a slight sting in my right arm, hoping it was nothing, until I looked over to see my arm covered in blood.
   I held my arm and got up since the man was laying on the floor groaning. I called 911 from my phone which was in my pocket.
   "There's a man in my house with a gun and knife. Please come to 284 West Maple Road…" I said as I was talking to the telephone operator.
   I stared at Lucas who was standing over the man.
   "Lucas, you saved me," I said with a shaky voice.
   He ran over and hugged me tightly, "I would never let you walk home alone. Now lets find everyone else." I could hear the sirens from my room and I began to cry again. This time, it was about how my family would be. Are the dead? alive? I didn't know. But, I hoped for the best.
   I got Bryan and Taylor out of the closet and hugged them tightly. At least they were safe.
   "Katie!!" I heard Lucas call me from downstairs. I grabbed Bryan and Taylor and put them on the downstairs couch.
   I went over to Lucas since he was kneeling over Mike.
   "He has no pulse," Lucas said to me. I didn't have time to think until I heard scratching on the kitchen closet door. I opened it and saw my mom almost unconscious with blood all over her thigh.
   "Mom…I'm so sorry," I said feeling the guilt come back again.
   "Don't worry about it. Go to Mike," she struggled to say.
   I went over to Mike and cried next to Lucas until the police came. They took Mike, my mom, and I away in stretchers. Lucas grabbed Bryan and Taylor and put them into his car.
   I grabbed Lucas' hand as I was laying on the stretcher feeling dizzy from the loss of blood. I said to him, "Lucas…thank you. Please stay with me."
   "Don't worry about it. I'll be right next to you at the hospital," he said, which seemed promising.
   I closed my eyes and the last thing I remember is the sound of the ambulance door closing and the feeling of relief in my body.

   Chapter 12
   "I'll have scrambled eggs please," I said to the waitress.
   Lucas smiled and said, "Same for me."
   I looked at him and smiled sheepishly. "So, you looking forward to going back to school? We're big sophomores now!" I said to break the silence.
   He laughed cutely and said, "Yeah…nah not really. I hate school."
   "Me too." I said with a frown. Just then, my phone rang with a Justin Bieber ringtone singing "Baby". It read: Mom. I decided to ignore it. She knew I was out with Manda. No big deal.
   Lucas and I talked for another 5 minutes until my phone vibrated telling me I had 3 new voicemails. Suprisingly, my phone didn't ring. I knew I couldn't ignore her now. I excused myself, got up from the table and walked to the bathroom.
   The first one said, "Katie Anne Shaw. Where are you? Come home right now. I'm very mad! And answer my calls next time!" I laughed and said, "Oh, mother."
   The second one said, "Katie, please come home right now. Please." She sounded like she was whispering, yet crying. I started to get worried and decided not to listen to the last one and go straight home.
   I walked back to the table to tell Lucas that I had to go and headed towards the door.
   "Wait, i'll drive you." Lucas said.
   I ignored him and started speed-walking around the corner to my house. I didn't know what I was going to find at my house when I opened the door. Since I was panting from walking so fast, I decided to walk slowly the rest of the way. Eventually, I was there outside my average-sized house. I braced myself, opened the door and dropped my bag.
   I looked up and saw a figure shaped like a man. I stopped.
   Dead in my tracks. I was frozen.

   Chapter 11
   Joey walked over and kept his eyes on me. "Oh, so you two know each other?"
   I had to respond quick, "Yeah, we do. We met in Florida."
   "Oh, yeah. Wait, Lucas, Katie is the girl you said knew me?" Joey let out a quick laugh.
   Lucas was confused because he didn't know that Joey and I kissed before. "What's the big deal?" Lucas asked.
   Joey laughed again and said, "Alright my mom's freaking out. I gotta go. Cya Lucas." He looked over at me and said with a smile, "Bye Katie." I gave him a quick hug and saw him get into the car and drive away.
   Lucas kept his eyes on me. "What's going on between you and Joey?" he asked nervously.
   "Nothing, we're just really good friends," I said and smiled.
   "Ya sure?" he asked pulling me in from my waist.
   I smiled and said, "Yeah, I'm sure."
   Just then, it started to pour so Lucas and I got into his car to stay dry.
   "Do you need a ride home? Cause I don't want you going out there and getting sick," Lucas said sweetly.
   "I can't make you do that! It would be a 45 minute drive for you," I said.
   He smiled, "Trust me, I have nothing to do today. Plus, it gives me more time to spend with you."
   I smiled hopelessly. I called Manda ask her if it was alright and she agreed. Manda was sleeping over tonight so she needed time to get ready anyways. It was already 1, I could see the time on my phone. I was starving since the only thing I had today was ice-cream., but I was hoping Lucas wouldn't notice.
   He started his car and we headed towards my house.
   "Left here," I said looking over at him. He continued going straight as I sat there staring at him.
   "We're here," he said staring at a diner around the block from my house.
   I sighed and smiled. I was starving.

   Chapter 10
   Lucas was standing outside the ice-cream parlor with some of his friends, one of them included Joey. I was speechless.
   "Just now," I responded to Manda.
   She looked at me really confused but saw where I was looking. She gasped. "You have to go talk to him!" Manda encouraged me.
   "No, I can't…" I responded, but at that moment, I came face-to-face with the beautiful face I remembered from Florida.
   "Hey Katie," Lucas said as he came up to me and smirked.
   To be honest, I died a little inside. I managed to say, "Lucas…Hey."
   "How you been?" he asked. His perfect teeth were amazing.
   I shook my head and brought myself back to reality. "Good…good," I responded. "You?"
   "I'm good myself too. I have a surprise for you in my car," he said and grabbed my hand.
   I rolled my eyes, winked at Manda, and followed him to his car.
   He reached in the front seat window and pulled out my diary. I squealed.
   "Thank you, thank you, thank you! I was so lost without it," I said happily.
   "It was no problem," Lucas said with a smile.
   I smiled back at him, put my diary in my bag and headed back to sit with Manda again. But, when I turned around to walk away, Lucas grabbed my arm and pulled me back to him.
   "You forgot something…" he said smiling, holding out his arms for a hug.
   I hugged him and said, "You didn't look in it, right? Or else I will kill you."
   He laughed, "No, I didn't look in it. I promise. How come your so protective of it?"
   I gasped, "This thing is my life. I write down everything I feel and do when I have the chance."
   He looked down at me like I was crazy, but I didn't mind.
   To me, my diary was like a person: someone I told everything to. "Alright I have to go. Manda's waiting for me," I said and turned around.
   Once again, Lucas grabbed my arm and pulled me back.
   This time, he kissed me lightly on the lips. It was more magical the second time. More passionate as I would describe it. But, we were interrupted by a person clearing their throat as if they were trying to get our attention.
   I looked over and all I could see was the disturbed look on Joey's face.

   Chapter 9
   *beep beep beep* "Good morning Philadelphia. Looks like a cloudy day, but with 80% chance of rain!…" my radio blasted and woke me up.
   I missed that radio waking me up every morning. I smiled and went to go take a shower.
   After, I blow dried my hair and straightened it. I put on a flowy pink top with dark jean shorts, a long necklace, and white flip-flops. I grabbed a dark blue hood just in case of rain and texted Manda telling her to pick me up.
   K: Hey. You ready?
   M: Just about! I'll pick you up in 5!
   K: Alright, sounds good. Marty's?
   M: Awesome! Cya soon!
   Manda picked me up and we went to Marty's Ice-cream Parlor about 15 minutes away. It was far away, but so worth it. I got chocolate and Manda got vanilla, very typical of us. We sat down outside at a table with 2 chairs.
   "Sooo, what's this wonderful story you have to tell me?" Manda said and took a bite of her ice-cream.
   I smiled, "Well, I met this guy…"
   Manda spit her ice-cream out and stared me right in the eye, "NO YOU DID NOT."
   "Yes, I did," i said and laughed as I helped clean up her icecream.
   "TELL ME, TELL ME," Manda said.
   "Alright, alright.." I told her everything from the time I met Lucas.
   "Ah, that's amazing. Where does he live?" she asked.
   "About a half hour from my house," I said and sighed.
   Manda and I got up to through out our ice-cream. She asked, "When's the last time you saw him?"
   I turned around to go back to our table and I froze.
   No, it couldn't be. But, it was.

    I was frozen. I could not believe I forgot the most important thing in my life. My diary.
    I had an idea, but it wasn't the best idea. I knew Lucas was still at the hotel so I texted him again.
    K: Hey
    L: Hey, are you home already?
    K: Nah I'm still on the plane. Can you do me a HUGE HUGE HUGE favor?
    L: Sure, anything!
    K: Alright so I realized I forgot something really important in my hotel room. Your gonna make fun of me for this, but I left my diary in the side table drawer. :P
    L: Your diary? Really? (:
    K: STOP. It's like my life. I write everything I'm feeling in there. Can you get it for me? The room should be open. And you have to promise me that you WILL NOT open it.
    L: Sure, sure. I'll get it for you. And yes I promise I won't open it. Anything for you (:
    K: Lucas, your a lifesaver. Thanks a ton! The planes about to take off. Cya back home!
    L: Bye! Have a safe flight (:
    The plane ride went pretty fast. I slept most of the time and when I wasn't asleep, I thought about Lucas and whether I trusted him or not. I decided that I did. Even though I knew him for a week, we got pretty close.
    I got a text from Lucas as soon as we landed in the airport.
    L: Your diary is safe with me (:
    K: Thanks a bunch! <3you
    L: I hope you know that you're gonna have to hang out with me to get it back (;
    K: Haha alright. (: Cya!
    When I finally arrived home, I was exhausted, but relieved.
    I missed my bed and my friends. I texted my best friend to tell her I was home.
    Her name's Amanda, but everyone called her Manda.
    K: I'm home!
    M: Oh thank goodness! I worried my best friend wasn't gonna come home! How was it?
    K: Great! I have a wonderful story to tell you tomorrow (: But now i'm gonna go to bed. Night love!
    M: Alright. We'll talk over ice-cream tomorrow. Cya babycakes (;
    I got changed, washed my make up off, and passed out on my comfy bed.

    Chapter 7
    I smiled and headed to my bed to take a long nap.
    The rest of the week zoomed by and today was the day we were leaving Florida. I packed all my clothes and accessories in my luggage bags and headed out the door of the hotel with my family, hoping I had everything.
    I hadn't heard from Lucas since that day. I wondered what he's been up to so I decided to text him.
    K: Hey (:
    L: Katie! Long time, no see. How are ya?
    K: I'm good. About to get on the plane to go home. You?
    L: Leaving already? I didn't get to say goodbye :(
    K: Sorry :( we were in such a rush this morning!
    L It's alright (: Did you remember everything?
    K: I hope so!
    L: Cya home! I'm staying until tomorrow. Have a good flight.
    K: Thanks. Cya!
    We arrived at the airport around 12, so we ate lunch at Burger King and quickly boarded the plane.
    Sitting there, I pondered. I retraced my steps in the hotel room to remember I had everything: make-up from the bathroom, accessories and clothes from the dresser…
    I stopped. My face turned pale. I felt almost sick.
    I remembered that I had forgotten my diary in the side table drawer in the hotel room.

    Chapter 6
    I woke up the next morning around 10, not realizing I was already smiling because I knew this day was going to be perfect. I jumped in the shower, blow dried my hair, and straightened it. I got dressed in my favorite sun dress with yellow flowers and put on a pair of yellow flip-flops.
    By this time, it was already 11:15, so I texted Lucas asking when he'd be ready.
    L: Probably like 15 minutes. I'll stop by your room then. Is that alright?(:
    K: Perfect!
    I was so excited. 15 minutes had passed before my eyes.
    "Mom, I'm going out with a friend. Cya!" I screamed at my mom who was in the shower.
    "Is it a boy?" Mike asked and playfully punched my arm.
    I smiled and said, "Bye Mike."
    I opened up the door to see Lucas' beautiful face. He was standing there with a blue-ish polo and long black pants on.
    He smirked, "Ready?"
    "Yup. Where are we going?" I asked.
    "Somewhere special," he said and grabbed my hand. "You look really pretty," he said and blushed.
    I laughed, "Thanks Lucas and must I say, you look handsome yourself."
    He took me to Epcot and we arrived at a really fancy restaurant called Belle Ville. Lucas told me it meant "Beautiful City" in French. It actually WAS a beautiful city.
    Everything on the menu was in French so Lucas had to translate for me. We had a great time and I got to know him a lot more.
    He took me back to my room after that. I went to hug him goodbye, but he stopped me.
    "Oh, c'mon. Admit it. You want to kiss me," he said and smirked.
    I laughed kinda surprised, "Your kidding. No, I do not want to kiss yo-"
    I was interrupted by Lucas' soft lips touching mine. He had grabbed my waist and I held onto his shoulders. I let go and he smiled with all his teeth.
    "Oh really?" he said, "Well, I certainly wanted to kiss you."
    All I could do was smile.
    My first (well, second) kiss was as perfect as I imagined. That kiss was amazing and Lucas was a great kisser.
    "Alright, I have to go. I'll see you around," he hugged me, winked, and disappeared down the hall.
    I smiled the biggest smile I have ever smiled and went inside my room. He was perfect.

    I woke up around 8:30 to find no one in the hotel room.
    "Great, they went to breakfast without me," I said to myself. I rolled my eyes and threw my hair up in a messy bun. i put on a white shirt, blue sweatpants, and flip-flops and headed out the door to find my mom.
    As soon as I walked down the hall, I remembered that I forgot my phone. So i sprinted back, only to find Lucas walking down the hall.
    "Oh. Hey..Katie," he said as if he didn't remember my name.
    I was surprised, "Hi Lucas."
    "Why are you up so early?"
    "I'm trying to find my mom. They went to breakfast without me."
    He laughed, "Well, today's your lucky day because I'm about to go eat. Wanna come?"
    I smiled, "Sure."
    Lucas was the sweetest boy I ever met. We talked over some bagels and orange juice. We got to know each other really well. I learned he lives near me and goes to a school about a half hour away from mine. He has 3 sisters, no brothers. We are both sophomores and love the Phillies.
    "So, you go to East Creek, right?" he asked me.
    "Yeah, I do. It sucks though."
    He laughed adorably and said, "I know. I hate my school too. But, do you know Joey Hanson?"
    I bit my lip and managed to say, "Yeah…. I do. How do you know him?"
    "He's on my baseball team. You into him?" he asked and winked.
    "Uhh.. no," I laughed and smiled.
    We finished up our bagels and he walked me back to my room. I could hear my family inside since they were so loud.
    "So, uh.. could I uh.. have your number?" he blushed and smiled.
    "Sure," I said with the biggest smile ever.
    We exchanged numbers and he hugged me goodbye. I went inside the room and got ready for the park. I could not stop thinking about Lucas and how sweet he was. I knew we would be great friends.

    I sighed, wishing for something I could never have.
    We got off the plane and took a taxi-van to our hotel, right outside of Disney World. How cool!
    After setting all of our stuff in our room, it was already dinner time so we decided to eat at the restaurant in the hotel.
    I excused myself to go to the bathroom to daydream some more, but then it hit me. Literally, it hit me.
    The next thing I remember is being on the ground looking up at a gorgeous male figure with luscious brown flippy hair and sparkling blue eyes kneeling on one knee.
    "Oh my god. I'm so sorry. Let me help you up." He stuck out his hand and helped me to my feet. "Are you alright?"
    "Y-Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks," I said nervously.
    "No problem," he said with a smile to show his perfect teeth, "I'm Lucas."
    Speechless, I managed to say, "Katie."
    "Well, it's very nice to meet you, Katie. You staying here in this hotel?"
    He was such a gentleman, "Yeah, I am. Only for the week though."
    "Me too! I'm here with my family on a vacation before school."
    "Same here." I said with the biggest smile ever.
    "Alright, well I gotta get back to the fam. It was nice meeting you. Maybe I'll see you around sometime," he said giving me a hug.
    I smiled, and after he left, i said, "Yeah, I'd like that."
    I went back to the table and could not stop smiling the whole night. We went back to our room after that and I laid down and decided to write in my diary again.

    Ahhhh! something happened tonight that made my entire life! I was going to the bathroom and i bumped in to this really cute boy. His name is Lucas and he's staying in the same hotel I am!
    I literally think it was love at first sight because I can't stop smiling! I hope i see him around sometime with his beautiful blue eyes. Could this be a start of something new? So many questions. AH IM SO HAPPY!

    I'm writing to you from Flight 78 that just left the Philadelphia airport.
    Mom and the baby fell asleep, the two dweebs are playing a stupid game, and the mature 16-year-old is writing in her diary.
    I have been feeling strange lately. I keep daydreaming about fantasy things. When will it stop? but, most importantly, will it come true? I want to be spun around and kissed in the rain. Will these things make me happy?
    Diary, I have never told you this, but I already had my first kiss, but it didn't mean anything I promise!! Who you ask? Joey Hanson. Yes, the mediocre wanna-be kid. I had to. Just to get it over with. But that was last year. This is now. And I'm ready to start over again, fresh and clean.

    We still had an hour left of the flight, so I decided to head into my fantasy world where everything was perfect…
    He came up from behind me and hugged my from my waist.
    After sneaking out to see me, he lead me over to a park bench, gave me his hoodie, and held me until I was warm.
    "Kiss me," I said.
    He blushed, "Only if you kiss me back."
    He leaned in and showed me what it was like to be loved by someone that treats you right.
    That kiss was perfect until I woke up to the warm Florida air. I grabbed my carry-on and got off the plane with my family.
