    Beautiful goodbye.
    Chapter 4
I quickly picked a seat and sat by myself. I stared out the window the whole way to school. Once we got there, I headed straight to the main office to get my schedule. Once I did I had no idea where i was going. I decided to text Travis, maybe he knew where i was supposed to go.
    Lyndsay: Travis?
    Travis: Hey what's up?
Lyndsay: Where's the room for bio honers?
Travis: I'm there right now, I'll come get you.
Before I knew it Travis was coming around the corner to help me get to Bio.
"Having a little trouble finding your way around?" He said and smiled.
"Just a little bit" I said back. We walked into the classroom and I gave my pass to the teacher.
"Class, this is Lyndsay Effet. I expect all of you to make her feel welcome." She announced to the class.
"Lyndsay, I am Mrs.trucher. Take a seat anywhere." She said to me with a smile. I sat in the back of the room, considering it was the only seat open. As I took a look around the classroom, I noticed that all these people were nothing like me. I was dressed cute from head to toe. My long dirty blonde hair was straightened perfectly, my make-up made my green eyes pop, and I was wearing my new Sperry's. The last thing I bought before my family was sued. All the people in this classroom were dressed as if they couldn't give a damn what they looked like. Except there was this one girl who was dressed just like me. After the bell rang, I decided to aproach her.
"Hi my name's Lyndsay" I held out my hand and smiled at her.
"I'm Laura." she said back to me and shook my hand.
"Do you mind if I follow you around today? I'm new here"
"Sure why not." After another period, it was lunch time. I sat with Laura.
"So Lyndsay, tell me about yourself."
"Well, I just moved here. My dad-" I stopped myself. I couldn't tell my new friend what had actually happened to my family.
"My dad just got a new job as a surgeon at the local hospital" I said and smiled. I knew instantly that I shouldn't have lied.

    Beautiful goodbye.
    Chapter 3
About 3 days after we had left Key West, we had arrived at our new home in Mississippi. From here on out, my life would be completely different. One of the worst parts is that i start a new school tomorrow. in order to get everything to fit into our new house, each of us had to get rid of a substantial part of our possesions. I now had to share a room with a 12 year old and a 6 year old. While my parents and sisters were setting up the new house i decided to walk around the trailer park. It had just rained the day before so everything was muddy and as i was walking around i slipped and fell in a puddle of mud. In a second, someone was at my side helping me up.
"You know, people don't usually slip in mud puddles" he said to me. I rolled my eyes as he brought me to my feet.
    "Are you new around here?"
"yeah, we just got here today. this is my new home." I said, and rolled my eyes again.
"Well my name is Travis, I'd be more than happy to show you around." I scanned him up and down. He isn't the type of person I'd be caught dead with back at home. Complete trailer trash.
"Um, no I'm fine. Maybe another time" I said and started to walk away.
"Wait up!" he said and ran up to me. He took a pen out of his pocket and wrote his number down for me.
"call me when you want a tour." he said, and smiled. He had a gorgeous smile, blonde hair, and blue eyes. But he still wasn't a person I'd be caught dead being seen with. I walked back to our trailer and everything was set up...that was fast. I went into my new room and put travis' number in my iPhone. It was late and I needed to go to bed. I laid down and soon fell asleep. I woke up to the sound of my sisters arguing. I hate having no privacy and sharing a room. I got ready and soon was out the door and on my way to school. I had to take the bus as opposed to when Andrew would drive me to school everyday. When the bus pulled up and i walked on, I looked around and all I saw was people who I would never be friends with.

    Girls Like me .
    Chapter 14.
“Hey guys!” I smiled, embracing the fact that Collin’s arm was around me.
“Uhm, hi.” Zoe said, still in shock.
I watched Jake, as he stood uncomfortably with his hands in his pockets. I didn’t feel sorry, though. He should’ve just told Zoe that he didn’t want to go out.
“So, what are we going to do?” Collin asked, pulling me closer to him.
“Well, I was thinking mini golf.” Zoe smiled at Collin, clearly jealous of the fact I was with him.
“Sounds fun.” I beamed up at Collin, and then at Zoe, giving her somewhat of a dirty look.
We walked over to the mini golf stand, letting the guys pay for the clubs and the balls. Then, we began the course.
“How do you work this thing?” I giggled, holding the club upside down.
I felt like such an idiot acting like an air head. Clearly I knew how to work a golf club, but I needed an excuse for Collin to get close to me.
“Let me help you.” Collin winked, making sure Jake was watching.
He then wrapped his arms around me, showing me how to swing the club. I giggled, letting him kiss me on the cheek.
“Hey Jake, how do you do this?” Zoe asked Jake, trying to compete with Collin and I.
“It’s just a golf club, you swing it and aim for the ball.” Jake said annoyed.
I did my best to hold back laughing. She was pathetic, Jake didn’t even like her. I suddenly felt a strange stirring in the pit of my stomach. What were we turning into? Zoe and I had best friends since forever, was I really going to risk ruining it on this?
We continued golfing, and I continued to flirt with Collin. I had only meant to make Jake jealous, but it was making Zoe mad too, which was all the better.
“Let’s go babe.” Collin called from up ahead, walking towards the pizza parlor with Zoe.
    “Comin-“
“What’s this all about?” Jake grabbed my arm, pulling me back towards him.
“What are you talking about?” I asked sarcastically.
“Why are you out with Colin?” He questioned in a more serious tone.
“Why are you out with Zoe?!” I spat.
He buried his face into his hands, shaking his head.
“Is that what this is all about?”
“Uhm, yeah. It is.” I said snottily.
“So you’re jealous, I see.” Jake winked at me.
    “What?! A-am not!” I lied.
“Oh, so you wouldn’t be jealous if I did this to Zoe?” Jake asked, wrapping his hands around my waist, pulling me close.
“No.” I muttered, feeling his warm breath brushing against my cheek.
“What about this?” Jake asked, kissing me on the cheek.
“N-no.” I stuttered, staring at him.
“Well, what about this Jake asked?” Softly kissing my lips, and pulling away.
“Okay.” I admitted, touching my lips.
    "Maybe a little."

    I hate when people say:
    You're not a 90's kid if you were born in 1997, 1998 or 1999.
I was born in 1998. I used to watch Kim Possible, Hey Arnold, Recess, The power puff girls, Spongebob, Rugrats, Arthur, Clifford the big red dog, That's so raven, banana's in pajamas etc. I know how to rap the whole Fresh prince of bel air rap on the spot. I used to draw those weird S's everywhere. Those pencils where you lost one led the whole pencil was fu/ked. Home alone is STILL my all time favourite movie. I went on to windows 95 only for paint. I had a gameboy colour. B*tch please.
nmf :), just really liked it.

Hey, Arnold! Do you remember 90's tv shows? They're Kim Possible to forget. Let's take The Magic School Bus to Dexter's Laboratory and listen to All That stuff As Told By Ginger while sitting on The Big Comfy Couch. Then we can take a Recess and tell Dragon Tales while Arthur and Madeline put the Rugrats to sleep. Ed, Edd, 'n' Eddy are Rolie Polie (Olie) while sleeping, but Courage the Cowardly Dog can watch them. Then we can take a walk in Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood. However, we might get Goosebumps because there are a lot of Little Bears. Luckily, we can always count on Clarissa to Explain It All, and The Power Puff Girls to save the day.
