I think people who constantly have to be surrounded by friends or always be in a relationship, in order to feel important, is sad
I am not defined by anyone, especially not the people in my life. I can be alone and still feel important. I don't let my worth depend on another person's company
I think people who are too afraid or unable to think for themselves, is sad. There are lots of people like this, who really have no individuality. They may copy things other people do, because they are unable to do those things, themselves (especially people who lack artistic talent. These people are the worst at taking the credit for work that others do, because they simply are unable to have artistic ability)
Being able to make your own decisions, regardless of what others think, shows strength. Not caring about what others think, shows bravery. Being able to create or do things, on your own, shows independence. It is good to take advice from people and respect people, but not to the point where people walk all over you and cause you to be unable to to think for yourself
I think people who follow trends and phads, and like things, just because other liked them first, is sad.
I don't follow trends. I like what I like. I don't care if its popular or understood by other people. I do things I enjoy, not so that I can be accepted by other people. If people like me, that's great. If people hate me, that's too bad. I don't live my life in order to please others or get them to like me. I just live my life, and that's the most important thing, I think.
