People need to stop insulting what other people love to do.
Maybe that would solve half the world's problems. People go around
making fun of people for what they do and they think it's funny. They
think just because this person does this and I don't like it then I can insult
them. That's not how it works. What you may not know is the thing you
are making fun of that person for doing, whether it be a sport, playing an
instrument, arts, whatever it is, that could be their livelihood. They could
love doing that one thing so much they wouldn't know what to do without
it. So when you make fun of them for doing it, when you take away their
pride in what they do, that kills them. Even saying that's so weird or why
would you do that affects the person. When you do something you love
you like to talk about it and your achievments in that area, so why can't
they? Even if it's 'weird' or you've never heard of it before. Did you ever
think that the person you are insulting by telling them what they live for is
dumb thinks that what you do is 'weird'? They might, and they keep that
opinion to themselves. I'm not saying never talk about what you love to do
for fear of getting insulted, but at least have the decency to respect what
another person does before you go around talking crap about it.
