my mom dumped a huge load
of information I didn't want to know
on my sister and I tonight. one of those
pieces of information was that the final
straw with my dad that made her ask
him to leave when I was a baby, was
that his sister called her saying that
he was the one that got his own niece
pregnant (I know, f.ucked up.) she said
at first she thought it was because his
sister didn't like him, but she just kept
calling and after awhile my mom said
she just couldn't take that risk with
having three daughters. the sister
said that they were going to get a
paternity test done when the baby
was born, but my mom was done
before that happened. even now she
thinks the sister was lying to protect
her son (my mom swears the son was
abusing the daughter and they always
were protecting him- so it made sense.)
I wish so much that my mom would
have waited to make sure it wasn't
him- or at least asked him about it.
my life could have been so different.
I could have had a dad.
