I couldn't stop staring. I felt allured into her presense. I felt like she was a shower: I never wanted to get in, but when I do, I don't want to get out. She sat with her feet up on her chair, and her head on her knees. She never spoke in class, and she never made eye contact with me. Everyday she came to school, a different hairstyle, makeup look, or style. But today, July 17th, she came into the classroom with sweatpants, no makeup, hair in a bun, and slippers. She sat in her chair normally. I finally heard her voice for the first time. She raised her hand high, and the teacher answered.
"Yes, Noel?"
So that was her name. It fit her, I guess.
"My nose is bleeding."
It wasn't like I could see her nose bleeding. But somehow, I felt like she wasn't lying. The teacher nodded and waved his hand.
"Go to the nurse's office."
"I'm very dizzy. Can Markus accompany me?"
I think at that moment, my mind drew out to a blank. White fuzz. Did she just ask me to take her to the nurses office? I was so confused. Why her? She was so touch, couldn't she just do it herself? Lazy a/ss. Before I could construct an idea in my head, she was grabbing my arm and pulling me down the hall. I was too flustered to say anything; I think that if I did, it wouldn't sound like English at all. She stopped and turned around. Her face was flushed dark red.
"Y-you're coming to my house!"

Here it was, here was high school. The building towering over me as it devoured me slowly with its enormous gates. I strode along the hallways staring at the works of former students still hanging outside classroom doors. The lights above us seemed to be blinking everytime we moved. The student body seemed to hate new comers to the school, glaring at the newbies or at the younger years. My ponytail swayed from side to side as I made my way over to a few people who had come to this school with me. They were busy talking to others who I hadn't met yet but as soon as I made it to their table, they welcomed me. "Melanny! How've you been?! I called and texted you for a WHOLE month, why didn't you pik up?! Are you breaking up with me??" I smiled as my best friend, Delanssy as she babbled on so loud that it attracted a group of guys to come over and flirt with us. I brushed them off without hesitation, making sure that they wouldn't come back for seconds. "Anyways, this is Roxan," Delanssy announced pointing to a pale girl with cute dimples, light freckles and chocolate wavy hair. Roxan smiled and gave a shy wave. "Roxan, this is Melanny, Mel this is Roxan. This is Jennerfa," A tanned, rosy cheeked girl smiled a smile able to light up the world. She had straight black hair and the most curious brown eyes that darted up and down, left and right. "Jennerfa, this is Melanny, Melanny this is Jennerfa and THIS is Anjilena," Delanssy gave a slight gesture and a gorgeous soft skinned girl whirled around happily, holding her delicate hand out to shake. She had ocean blue eyes that shone with delight. Her shiny red hair rested on her shoulders. Once again, Delanssy gave us a short introduction "Anjilena, this is Melanny, Melanny, this is Anjilena."
