about a person is
the way they speak,
so how come it's 
it's been 12 months
since we last spoke, yet 
when I fall asleep
at night I can still hear
the familiar goodnights & I love yous?
How come I can still hear your voice
in my own shaking tone?

I lay awake until the A.M every night,
riddled by thoughts of you,
what are you doing?
who are you with?

can you still hear my voice too?
