lies are made with the
mouth
the words that shouldn't have came out
the twists you repeat over fifty times
and you feel no guilt and think it's all fine
you swear to god the truth is out
but nothing that's right has ever came out
you said its the last time you'll speak a lie
but next time you try
your word is denied
your trust used to be a new pink eraser
one that was more than so much greater
you had more chances than ever before
but you used all of them on a mistake that's no more
so now it's time to learn what's final
that telling the truth is better than denial
speak the truth and learn what's right
and you'll have a brighter future tomorrow
this is my poem. i wrote it
