It seems like im the rubbish friend. Everyone can help me when I have problems but when they have their own, I shy away. Mainly because I don’t know what its like to be in those situations and I don’t want to give the wrong advice. I don’t want to be a bad friend, and I’m trying to give better advice, but I’m never going to be able to give anyone advice that helps.

Just because you don't fully understand what a certain situation feels like, doesn't mean that you give the wrong advice. Advice is just a suggestion of what someone can do, there is no right or wrong answer. And for the record, you're not a 'rubbish friend' xxx
