Chapter 4
Charlotte's POV
I
stopped myself in my tracks. If I ran, he would notice, my friends
would notice, the whole school would notice. I decided to stand
there and act like I had no idea who he was, technically I really
didn't have a clue. I knew his name was Harry and not Harvey
like he had told me. Maybe he had even lied to about me being
pretty and everything. I got those thoughts out of my head
immediately. I decided to just ignore him, even though I could feel
his gaze upon me, staring at me. I could not handle this, I wanted
to run so badly but I wouldn't, I was stronger than that. I
looked at my friends who were so starstruck and so excited about
One Direction Performing. "Well we are going to play a song
that most of you should know, hopefully" the blonde one said.
My friends screamed some more and I just laughed and rolled my
eyes. "Char?" I heard someone say my name. "Hi
Grant!" I replied excitedly, finally a distraction from this
madness. Grant and I had dated once but it didn't work out, I
hoped this would be a change. One Direction started playing a
slower song called little things. "Do you want to dance? I
would love to." And we danced, but I could feel someone
watching us.
