    One Thing
    Chapter 6
    Harry's POV
Who was this guy and why was he messing with my great plan?! I laughed in my head. I sounded like an insanely jealous guy, the kind I hated. I talked to the girl for like 2 seconds and I was lovestruck, that's all it took. I decided it was time to proceed with my plan, I gave the guys a little nod signaling it was time. They all smiled and we finished Little Things. This was my one shot. "So today I met this insanely beautiful girl at the mall today but I didn't get a chance to ask her what I wanted to, little did she know that I would be seeing her tonight. I'm hoping you guys can help me out." They all yelled wildly, this plan had to work. "I am looking for the most beautiful girl I've ever seen, named Charlotte." The whole crowd got quiet, I could see her, she was hiding in the back. The crowd parted like the red sea and two girls pushed her to the front. Whoa. She really was beautiful, it was even more apparent as she got on stage. "So I have this song, that perfectly fits how I feel about you." She laughed. Her smile was so beautiful. "So with a little help from a few of my friends, I would like to sing this to you." Liam started singing his part, and he sang it right to her, the plan was working so well, she was smiling and laughing so hard. Now it was my turn, I grabbed the dozen roses I had sat on the side of the stage and walked over to her. "Shot me out of the sky, your my kryptonite, you keep making me weak, yeah frozen and can't breathe." I handed her the roses and she started crying. After we finished the song I grabbed her hand and said, "Charlotte, will you be my girlfriend?"

    Chapter 4
    Charlotte's POV
I stopped myself in my tracks. If I ran, he would notice, my friends would notice, the whole school would notice. I decided to stand there and act like I had no idea who he was, technically I really didn't have a clue. I knew his name was Harry and not Harvey like he had told me. Maybe he had even lied to about me being pretty and everything. I got those thoughts out of my head immediately. I decided to just ignore him, even though I could feel his gaze upon me, staring at me. I could not handle this, I wanted to run so badly but I wouldn't, I was stronger than that. I looked at my friends who were so starstruck and so excited about One Direction Performing. "Well we are going to play a song that most of you should know, hopefully" the blonde one said. My friends screamed some more and I just laughed and rolled my eyes. "Char?" I heard someone say my name. "Hi Grant!" I replied excitedly, finally a distraction from this madness. Grant and I had dated once but it didn't work out, I hoped this would be a change. One Direction started playing a slower song called little things. "Do you want to dance? I would love to." And we danced, but I could feel someone watching us.

    One Thing
    Chapter 4
    Charlotte's POV
I couldn't believe I was on my way to my Junior Prom. I had dreamed about this moment, since the time I could say the word prom. I would look at all the girls and tell them I loved their princess dresses and now I got to be the princess. I wished I had a date as I looked through the limo, my best friends Jen and Casey both had dates. I was glad they were happy I just wish I could be that happy. I had pined after this guy Grant since freshman year, but he was never "ready for a girlfriend" or so he said. But he did say that he would save a dance for me, which I was happy about. It just wasn't the same. We finally got to the High School and we gave our tickets to the person at the door. After that we found a table that we could all sit our stuff down at. The girls and I made our way to the bathroom, so we could make any touchups but I didn't need to make any. Jill really did a great job at everything, I looked as perfect as a person could be. "Will all the students make their way towards the stage!" I could our class advisor, Mrs. Moran, say into the microphone. "It's probably just more stupid rules about dancing." Casey said and we all laughed and rolled our eyes. "Boys and Girls we have some very special guests here to sing a few songs for us." Oh. God I thought. Its probably more of those stupid choir kids who think they're the best singers in the world. "How many of you know who One Direction is?!" Mrs. Moran asked. "Oh. my. god. They did not get the lamest band in the world to perform at our prom. This was suppose to be our prom." I groaned. Jen and Casey and basically the rest of the school, including the guys, went crazy. "Well here they are! Liam, Niall, Zayn, Louis and Harry!" They all walked out. I scanned them over, they each had a smirk on their face, like they were Santa Claus giving us the best present. I got to the last guy, Harry and realized it was the guy from the mall, that I had fallen in love with. And I ran.

    One Thing
    Chapter 3
    Harry's POV
We arrived at the high school a couple hours before the prom was about to start. Niall immediately found his aunt and hugged her. She introduced herself as Emily but the students knew her as Mrs. Moran. She told us that none of the students knew that we would be performing, so it was going to be a huge surprise to them. She looked a lot younger than I had expected her to be, probably around 30. She was pretty but I couldn't get Charlotte out of my mind. I knew I told myself that I wouldn't get attatched but how could I not, this girl was like my kryptonite. I remembered when she had bumped into me and she thought I was just another normal teenage boy, at least I knew she wasn't after me for my fame. She had the prettiest smile of anyone I had ever seen. "Harry! Harry! Snap out of it" I heard Zayn yell. "This girl really has you lovestruck, doesn't she?" Of course I had told all of them about Charlotte, they were my best friends and I had to because I couldn't get her out of my mind. "This isn't going to be another Taylor incident is it?" They all laughed. "Taylor who?" I asked. That was definitely one relationship I wished I could forget about. "Guys, I have a really romantic idea for her tonight, but I need you guys' help." I told them all my idea and they loved it, they all high fived me and told me that there was no way that she could say no to me. My palms began to sweat, man I was more nervous for this than I was for a concert. I looked at the clock, 1/2 hour until people began to show up and I would hopefully see her. She was definitely in for a surprise of a lifetime.

    One Thing
    Chapter 2
    Charlotte's POV
I rushed out of the mall. I wish I would've had time to talk to Harvey, get to know him better. He was really cute and had a
british accent, which was irresistable. If it was any other day, I would have asked him to lunch in the food court and we could've
talked and maybe seen a movie, but this was prom day. It was weird, I had felt like I had seen him before, somewhere. I guess it
was just a weird coincidence. I had to rush home it was almost 12:30 and my best friend Jill was gonna be at my house at 1 to do my
hair. I basically raced home, going over the speed limit in my little Ford Ranger. I liked my truck, it got me from point a to point b
and it was pretty much adorable, I was so excited to get it for my 16th birthday present. I finally made it home and saw Jill's car
parked in front of my house. "I know, I know, I'm late." I yelled as I rushed in the house and sat my dress down. My mom, My older
sister, Tara and Jill were laughing as I ran back into the living room and sat down in the chair in front of Jill. I continued to apologize
as Jill did my hair, I knew it was going to be gorgeous because there is no one I trust more than Jill when it comes to hair, I knew
she would make me look beautful. Jill finished my hair around 3, and quickly did my makeup afterwards. "You look beautiful already
and you aren't even in your dress yet. Speaking of that, I better help you get in it, so you don't mess up your hair." I replied with a
gracious thank you and she helped me into my dress. Jill really was the sweetest person in the world, she was the one who helped me
pick out my dress in the first place, even though she couldn't go to prom because she was a year younger. I finally opened my eyes
and looked at myself in the mirror. It was the first time, I truly felt beautiful. I couldn't believe how I looked, I didn't even recognize
myself. I walked out into our living room and spun around for my family, they oohed and awed. I couldn't believe I was going to get
my sparkling moment. I heard a honk from outside, well the limo's here. I gave my dad a kiss on the cheek and ran out the door. It was
time for Prom 2014! I prayed that this would be a night to remember.

    One Thing
    Chapter 1
    Harry's POV
"I can't believe we have to do this." I glared at Niall especially, he had to make a promise to his aunt that we
would sing at her school's junior prom. His aunt was a teacher at Marysville High School in Michigan. Wherever
that was. I didn't want to do this. The other guys were smiling, excited because we never got to experience our own
prom. I mean I guess it was exciting if it wasn't for the fact that everyone would be freaking out with us there, and we
wouldn't even be able to have any fun. I guess it was whatever, I wasn't about to sit her and sulk, I was about to have
a really good time and forget about whatever I had left behind. We pulled up to a shopping mall to pick up our tuxs for
the dance, we were to walk in and walk out and hopefully no one would notice us. Just as I was beginning to think we
were going to go unnoticed I felt a shove against me. "Watch where you're going." A girl said to me. I was angry now,
no one should be talked to like that. "Do you know who I am?" I asked her. "No, Should I?" she responded bluntly. I
couldn't believe she had no idea who I was, she had to live under a rock. I just laughed and looked at her, she was wearing
a pink cardigan, black leggings and what looked like riding boots she was pretty in the unconventional way that most
people would look past. "I'm sorry, that was really rude of me, I'm just in a hurry, tonight's my prom and I am stressed as it is, and I just want everything to be perfect. I'm Charlotte by the way." She quickly recovered. "I'm Har-Harvey" There was no reason she had to know who I was, it's not like I would see her again. "So you've got your prom tonight?" I asked. "Yea. I had to come pick up my dress today and I am totally in a rush or else I would stay and at least get your number." She flirted, it wasn't like I didn't like her because I did, a lot. It's just I didn't want
to get too attatched to someone I would never see again. "Wouldn't your date get mad if I gave you my number right now?" I asked her
knowing she had to have a date, she was too pretty not to. "Oh, right. My date, I guess invisible man will just have to suck it up." She
joked. I couldn't believe she didn't have a date. "Well it was nice meeting you Harvey, like I said I would really like to talk some more
but I really have to go. It was nice meeting you." And like that she was gone. We were out of there quickly too, just grabbing our tuxs and
leaving. I was hoping her prom was the same one I was about to sing at, because if it was I had a great surprise for her tonight. It will
surely be a night she won't forget.
