literally the cutest thing ever

happened today at school. So, I was at lunch and this autistic boy came up to me, holding a
red rose. He gave it to me and said "I know prom isn't for a few months but, I just wanted to
see if you would go with me.You're the most beautiful girl in the whole world and you're so
sweet and it would just be the best thing ever if you would go to prom with me"
and that's when i started like crying

There's this Autistic boy named Jacob at my school this year. I met him over the summer when I was a leadership student for freshman orientation. He was sitting by himself during lunch so I sat by him and we talked about superheroes and dinosaurs and all this other stuff that he likes. Well, a few weeks ago, he told his parents that I was his only friend at school, and then last Thursday he goes, "Hey Cammie, when I'm a big kid I want you to go to prom with me," and he gave me half of his fruit rollup. :)
