    I have liked this guy for 3 years.
  But in the last year or so, we have gotten closer, to the point
  we are really good friends. We talk everyday to the point people
  think we are a couple, but we aren't.  We just roll off
  the comments. But the thing is, everytime I hear the comments, it
  really hurts inside because i like
  him SO much. My question is do you
  think I should just tell him how I feel and see what happens?
  Should I just do nothing and continue like it has been? I want
  your guy's opinions.

Ask him if he likes anyone first. A good approach is saying you like a guy, tell your friend all of his good qualities under the guise that it isn't him and see how he feels about it.
