The next couple of weeks were hectic, trying to get everything ready for Sam's wedding. Which went off without a hitch. Nothing went wrong. Thank God. Drake's trial was a week after the wedding, and he got senticened to life without porol. We all relaxed after that. He couldnt hurt me anymore. Jackson finally offically asked me to be his girlfriend, and of course I said yes.After all of this had happened I got a big shock.
Sam and Dave set me down at the kitchen table a few weeks after the wedding and look at me seriously. I was worried something bad had happened.
"Lyra" Sam started, " We've been thinking, and we both agreed that if you want to, we would like to adopte you."
I just stared at her.
"A..adopt me?" I asked.
"Yes." dave said. "We want you to be our daughter. I want you to be my daughter."
I smiled.
"So what do you say?"
"I say, yes!" Sam laughed and started crying, but hugged me so tight I couldnt breath.Then Dave hugged me even tighter. We celibrated that day. JAckson came over and we took a walk. We ended up going to our playground. I sat on the swings. Jackson sat next to me.
This is where it all began. At this playground, where I laughed for the first time in Three years. All because of the boy sitting next to me. If it werent for him, I wouldnt be talking, drake would never have been arrested, and my life would be so different.
I got up and hugged him. He seem surprised but hugged me back.
"Thank you so much Jackson. If it weren't for you my life would be completely different."
He stood up and kissed me.
"I love you Lyra" he said simply.
"I love you too JAckson."
Mom was right, laughter can fix anything. Even my messed up life. I kept my promise and found someone to love. I guess I dont need my mom anymore, I have a new family. But i'll never forget her. She is after all, my mom.

Aww good ending! and remember, when a good story ends and even better one begins :) lets just hope i can finish mine too because i already have like 10 ideas of new stories in my head lol :P
