At the age of 7, she dreamed of being a vet,

With dogs and cats to nurse back to health.

At the age of 11, she dreamed of being popular,

With boys at her feet and girls following her wherever she went.

At the age of 13, she dreamed of having friends,

Someone to talk to and she'd tell them all her secrets.

At the age of 15, she dreamed of clear skin,

With no scars to hide under her long sleeves.

At the age of 16, she dreamed of being dead,

With no more pain to go through and no one to let her down.

At the age of 17, she was already dead,

Her family planned the funeral. The one last time to say goodbye.
