Coincidental Stars
Prologue
The day
started out like any other. I woke up late to Riley shaking me to
get up, and me jumping out of bed, got up put my hair in a
ponytail, make up, deodorant, perfume, get dressed, grab an
orange juice and run out the door. I am always like this on
Wednesday mornings, I always run late for my 6 am classes at Los
Angeles Community College District. Majoring in photography means
early mornings for the best natural lighting. If I didn’t
have Riley, my insomniac best friend and roommate, I would be
failing that class. Our little two room apartment took us two
years to construct in our heads and with both our skills, create.
We both go to LACCD but she is majoring in business with a minor
in finance and I have my major in photography with a minor in
culinary. We are both very indecisive people, hence miners. That
day though I thought was like any other because in hind sight it
was. I got up late and rushed to school. I went to my second
class half asleep and paid attention and took notes, went to
lunch with Riley between our classes, ran into a guy I
haven’t seen in years so planned coffee for tomorrow, went
to a class all about chocolate and go back to my apartment on a
sugar high. It was so sudden and coincidental I didn’t
really think twice about it. But since that day I didn’t
believe in coincidences.
Author Note: Formatting is a lot
different since the last time I posted. NEW STORY! I'm a
pretty good chunk into it so I will probably be posting chapters
every other day. I really like this story and think it will be my
