She cries as the demons inside her scream

Holding her blade, remembering the names

But then again, how could she forget?

To her everything is all one big game

But the problem is she's about to lose

 

Every name she was called she now believes

No matter how many people say they're wrong

'Ugly, worthless, stupid, annoying...'

She's now no longer strong

 

Friends going behind her back, rumours being spread

She thinks everything would be better if she was dead

She has people by her side, people she can go to

But she doesn't believe them when they say she's beautiful

She thinks that they pity her, or they pretend to care

 

People try to convince her everything is okay

But it's too late, she's already ruined, already breaking

She knows one day she won't be able to last

She knows that she has to get over the past

But no matter how hard she tries, she can't

 

Then things started to brighten up

She's now recovering, she's now happier

Although she's not fully there yet, she's fine for now

She still gets upset, she's still insecure

But she's happier now than she ever was before

 

She still gets hurt, she still gets lost

She still breaks down and her dreams are still tossed

But she knows people care, she knows how to live

And she knows what she will have to do to survive
