We used to chase each other all around
the playground just because he poked me and

I was best friends with his younger
brother, but he focused on ME?!
A-And this year we hung out
more and we got to know each other
more...through drama class
and the one free period I would
always wait for on Wednesdays!
We would hang out and share
jokes and flirt.

you started to ignore me...

not much, but just to

heart ached

class, but i didn't mind...

Until the last day of school
for the 9th graders, the freshmen.
Instead of wearing our uniforms,
the freshmen got to wera whatever
they pleased....
Most of the girls
wore barely any clothes
and caked their faces with make-up
but I found you staring at me when i passed
you in the hallway.
I was wallking with your younger
brother, and he noticed that you
stared and told me about it.

of most of the girls who looked

yesterday at the field trip

guy and i laughed again...
then for lunch they took us to

sounded out music and everyone
was on the dancefloor!

and the popular guy
tried to keep up with me
I couldn't believe

and I danced with both you

arms around your neck as we

my eyes and I stared into
yours and I lost myself
and you dove in as if to
whisper in my ear
but you lowered a
bit and kissed
the bottom part of my cheek.
You pulled back and stared at me
and I was trying to clear my head!
Until I looked back at
you and ushered to come close
and you came just close enough
and I stood on my tippy toes
and kissed you lightly on the cheek,
I was unsure..boy was i scared!
Until you pursed your lips....
and through the blaring music...
I heard you say
'I like you'
and at that note
my heart stopped
for a moment
until i smiled
and pulled him to the
balcony!"
