The mind now goes un-appreciated
The shadow of todays society is cast over knowledge
We trade our intellegence for the petty treasures of this life
There must be more
But is there more?
Is there something beyond this life?
Something bigger then us?
Or is this it?
When we die, is it the end of the line?
All our lives, all our discovery, for nothing?
Everyday we live our lives, is it all in vain?
Is there really a God, if so, does he care?
Is life even worth living in the first place?
Is that the way it is now?
Do we try to live longer because we're afraid of dying?
Don't be afraid, it's written 365 times in the bible.
But it's so hard not to be afraid.
Don't be afraid.
Because, if you're like me.
You know that this isn't the end of the line.
You know, that everything you do, however small, impacts someones life forever.
You know, that when you stare up at the sky, and you draw your last breath.
You can smile, and close your eyes. Because you know "I'm going home."
And when you get up there, God stands before you, and he says: "Well done, friend, well done my son, my daughter. You have made me proud."
He's proud.
He's waiting.
And one day, he won't have to wait for you any longer, and like the rest of us who believe in this, too.
You can go home.
