*Bruises and Black
Eyes*
Chapter 1
The sun shined through the glass window, touching the brown
flower pot sitting on the window sill. I had planted seeds only a
few weeks ago expecting a flower. All it revealed was dirt.
Tyler's hands were just
bearly touching my hips. He was leaning against the fridge,
holding me close. His neck was slightly bent to look down on me-
he's always been taller. Eyes were locked on mine. I could
stare into those eyes for days. Peircing blue. It seemed it would
be impossible for them to appear more blue, but every summer the
sun would shine making them even more breath taking. The summer
was always Tyler's favorite season. His light tan covered his
body. Even a few freckels dotted his nose.
My thoughts were interrupted
when his lips met mine. I felt my body melt, and my heart drop.
His hands wrapped around my hips so gently. His kisses so soft
and sweet. My mind left the real world and entered a state of
pure happiness. This is when I feel best. That's when I heard
foot steps.
My mind returned to my body and
I forced my feet to jump. I nearly leaped to the opposite corner
of my kitchen, grabbing the counter for support. I clutch my
coffee mug and took a sip. My eyes watched Logan step into the
room holding a pair of flip flops.
"They were in the closet,
Mel. Just like I said." Logan dropped the shoes to the
ground. He walked over to me with extended arms. I felt his touch
and shivered. His hands moved like snakes around my waist and
down my back to get a good grasp of my butt. "You're
welcome." was all he whispered as he pressed his lips on
mine.
Logan and I have been dating
for three years.
