First of all, I love your name. Secondly, no, I don't think it's weird. I like an 8th grader and I'm a freshman. I will warn you however that girls usually mature faster than boys and so you may be two or more years older than him in terms of maturity (I'm guessing this is about you). But this is all about what you want. It's your life :)
