Chapter
Six
We arrived
at the airport and I pulled out my phone real quick
to check to see if my mom had called or had sent me a text
message.
Nope.
But Hunter's goofy face he made at breakfast was my
background, so I smiled anyways.
"I'm sorry." I looked up at him.
"Don't be. It's not your fault." Hunter
said trying to smile.
It was going to be hard for the both of us.
We got my suitcases out of the car and walked inside the
airport.
After checking in and passing through security,
I still had a few more minutes untill my plane was ready for
boarding.
"I love you with all my heart." Hunter said as he
squeezed me a little harder in his arms.
"I love you too." I said resting my head on his
chest.
"I don't want to go." I sighed as I tried to
hold back my tears.
"I don't either. But, everything will work out Hope.
I promise. I'm here for you." He said caressing my
back. That's the problem.
He's here.
I'll be there.
"Now boarding seats A1-D9." The flight attendent
called over the intercom.
"I'll talk to you when I get to Paris. I'm gonna
have to go board soon." I said pulling back from
him.
"Don't cry, princess." Hunter said as a tear
trickled down my soft cheek.
"It's gonna be okay." He said wiping away my
salty tear.
"I'm gonna miss you though." I said slowly.
"I'm gonna visit you, as soon as I can. I
promise." He gave me one last tight hug.
"Now boarding seats D10-H10." The same lady spoke
through the entercom.
I leaned up and kissed Hunter passionatly.
"I love you." I waved goodbye.
Before entering the walkway to the plane I looked back,
Hunter and I locked eyes.
I could see a tear run down his cheek.
I had to hold back and just keep going.
"I'll miss you Hunter." I mouthed to him and
turned around.
I didn't want a reply.
I didn't want a goodbye.
