Chapter 6
*Allie's POV*
"Luke's ch-cheating on you" Kelsey stuttered.
My face dropped.
"What?!" my voice was cracking."t
I couldn't believe it. Was Kelsey serious? She had to be. Why else would Luke text me like that? I couldn't breathe. Tears began to form in my eyes.
Kelsey continued, "Allie, I'm so sorry. I know you're hurt. How can you not be?"
Anger swept over me as I wiped away a tear. 
I spoke through my teeth, "Who was it with?"e
Kelsey hesitated, "Ta-" n
Before she could finnish I knew.t
"Taylor." I repeated, still through clenched teeth, "She is such a slu//t! Who does she think she is? I fuc/king hate her." I countinuted in raged.
"Stop it." Kelsey spoke.
I was taken aback by her harsh words.
"What? What the fu//ck Kelsey"
"Allie, you need to stop putting it on Taylor. Cheating is a two way street. Luke knew what he was doing. Sure, Taylor was the homewrecker, but Luke needed to say no. He didn't. You need to break up with him."
The tears were falling again.
"Alright, Kelsey." my voice was cracking.
 I was trying to hold back the tears. 
"I'm so sorry this is happening to you." I could feel her sympathy coming back.
I sniffled. I was exhausted.o
"Thanks for telling me Kelsey. I'll see you tomorrow. "t
"See you tomorrow. Hang in there"h
I hung up.
I tried to put myself back together wiping the tears from my eyes. My mom walked into my room.
"Night Allie. Is everything alright?"
"Yeah I'm fine. 'Night mom."
My mom liked Luke. She wouldn't after what he had done to me but it had already been a long night. I didn't want to tell her.
As soon as I was sure my mom couldn't hear me, I reached for my phone. It was time to call Luke.
The phone just beeped. He must have been on with someone. I waited five minutes then called again. He picked up after 2 rings.
"Hey babe" He was so nonchalant it bugged me.
"Why didn't you pick up the first time? On the phone with Taylor?" I did not think the words through.
"No, Why would you say that?" He asked.
"Stop pretenging you don't know what's going on." I spat.
"I'm sorry babe. She came onto me." He tried to defend himself.
I was suddenly glad that I had talked to Kelsey first; she had convinced me into believing it was both of their faults.
"Cheating works two ways." I was surprised by how strong I was.
"I'm sorry."
"No you're not. Go get back with Taylor." I was fuming at this point.
"Ha. Maybe I will."
His response shocked me. Was he not even a little affected by this. He didn't even like me. I was done. I hung up the phone. The tears were streaming again. I had loved him so much for so long. He finally liked me, but apparently not as much as I thought.
 I cried myself to sleep. Luckily, Luke did not appear in my dream. Rather, it was the blonde Irish boy, Niall.
I woke up from the good dream and braced myself for the day.
Bring on the world of pain.
