Yep you are totally right, and I am glad you understand the point, which is don't make assumptions about Jesus based on what other people say, and you are absolutly right, God doesn't hate gay people, infact he loves them just as much as he loves straight people and its not about following the religion its about following Jesus, and since you've read the bible you obviously know that Christianity and Jesus are completely different things.

I have read the bible, cover to cover actually. and its not that I judge jesus... I judge the people who claim religion and are all like god hates gays god hates you for this and that blah blah blah because half the crap they claim god hates me for is never even mentioned in the bible. matter of fact it never once says anywhere in the bible about gay people so I judge the ones who make religion so hard to follow because they make up crap because they don't like something. that is what I judge.
