He would be 16
My cousin, Jimmy, was born February 27 1997 
but with only 3 chambers of his heart.
His life was hospital visit after hospital visit until 2009 when he was stable to be out of the hospital
A few years later in 2011, because it became necessary he was added to a list for a new heart.
He was in the hospital waiting for his heart from October 2011 to April 2012.
His mother stayed with him in the hospital at all times.
The rest of his amazing supportive family drove 2 hours every weekend to see him. 
They spent Halloween Christmas New Years and Easter in the hospital. 
April 2012 the doctors made the choice to let him go home and wait for his heart.
He waited and waited while his condition became worse and worse.
January 15 his family woke up at 3 in the morning to the phone ringing.
The hospital had finally found him a heart.
Jimmy had to go through 12 hours of open-heart surgery for the transplant.
And then fate played a cruel trick, the very thing that was suppose to safe his life, his body rejected.
His kidneys shut down along with other vital organs.
A week after he got his new heart he died..
Jimmy was funny, kind, brilliant, bright, caring, cheerful, charming, warm hearted, friendly, young, sweet, loveable and strong person I will ever meet.
He was the most amazing cousin I could have ever asked for, its unfair how short his life was.
I will love you forever Jimmy, rest in peace<3
