one of my dogs might be getting put down at some point within the next few weeks. That probably doesn't seem like a lot to some people, especially one's who've lost friends and family, but this dog was my birthday present nine years ago as a puppy and he's been my best friend since then. I can't imagine how awful it's going to be if he doesn't get better.
I've lost so many dogs, but most of them died suddenly and we didn't have a big build up to losing them. It just happened.
The vet's given us a deadline, if he's not better by it he's getting put down to stop him suffering.
So, many of you will sit going 'it's just a dog, humans are more important' but this dog is my best friend, my brother, one of the only living things I trust.
I don't want to lose him.
