Whenever I have a crush on someone, I go through three phases:

Phase 1: Where I won't shut up about them, but I pretend I don't like them.

Phase 2: Where I start to try and read into what they are saying and pretend that they like me too.

Phase 3: Where all hope is lost, I decide they don't like me, and I'm a big loser with a stupid face.
