chapter 2
alyson's P.O.V

I paused for a moment. "How do you know my name?"
His smile dropped. "Everyone does. The story of your little story is a legend. Well..in this town."
My shoulders released. "Oh. Okay." It was an awkward silence so I cleared my throat. "Well. I better be off. I came out for a walk."
"Oh, I am sorry if I wasted your time."
I grinned. "No. You didn't. You actually lightened up my mood, and that never happens." He chuckled.
"I'm glad that happened." He gazed into my eyes with his. I shook and went down the hill as he followed me. "I should go now. I don't really need a walk."
"Cool. So see you later?" I stared at Trevor for a moment. "Yeah. Sure."
We said our goodbyes and he ran to his home across ours. I went inside and sat on the couch.
My mother looked over at me. "That was short. Did you change your mind about walking?"
I looked down for a second. "Not really. I just bumped into someone and started talking to him."
"Him, huh?"
I chuckled. "Yes mom. Him. His name is Trevor Mowry."
My mother's smile dropped. She looked like she was about to drop her plate she was scrubbing.
"Trevor..Mowry?!"
I looked at her confusingly. "Why on earth would you even dare to talk to him?!"
"Mom, he looks harmless. Don't get so worried."
"He is trouble, Alyson. Trouble, trouble, trouble. He may look innocent, but that doesn't mean he is!"
"Oh please tell me what he has ever done to you!"
"Nothing to me, but to everyone, he's just not the person you think he is. For goodness sakes, you barely know the boy! Once you get to know him and realize more about what he has done, You come tell me that I told you so!"
"Whatever."
She scoffed. "You know what? I want to get to know him better. Invite him over."
"Mom, I didn't even get his number. And I'm not bringing him over. There's a chance you might stab him in secrecy."
My mother glared at me for a second. "You know where his home is at. I suggest you go there and tell him to come."
"Mom, he is ninety-five percent a stranger. Let me at least get to know him before we invite him for dinner."
My mother continued her chores and I went back to relaxing.
"Never trust people so quickly, Alyson."

Okay, so it's starting. Almost. Lot's of action and horror, with a bit of romance ;)
Please take time to read, I want it to be really well-known because this is my best series.
