~ Chapter 5 ~
Belle's
P.O.V
He smiles when he sees me and gestures to the seat in front of
him. I force a smile and sit in the seat opposite. We sit in an
awkward silence for a few minutes until Louis breaks it.
"So how was your exam?" He asks. I pull a face and he
laughs.
"You know what exams are like. The teacher glaring at you
the whole time as if to say, 'You better pass or I'll
kill you.'" He aughs again and I smile, for real this
time.
That was all it took to break the ice and we settled down into
comfortable chat as the time flew by.

4 months later
"Oh my god, Louis, quick?" I yell. He runs up quick, a
concerned look upon his face.
"How adorable is that dog?" I gush. He facepalms.
I giggle and bend down to pet it. "I love dogs." I
sigh. The little puppy rolls over so I can stroke it's tummy
and I squeal with delight.
Louis rolls his eyes. "Come on, we have to go now." He
says. I pout and he grabs my hand.
"I'll buy you a puppy for christmas." He
says.
"Yaaaaay!" I say, in a stupid childish voice. He laughs
and we get into his car, leaving the park.
"We should have picnics in the park more often." I
suggest. He agrees and turns the radio on.
"This song is so good!" He says, turning it up.
A Thousand Years by Christina Perri blasts throught the speakers
and I sing along.
"You're quite good." Louis states and I shake my
head.
"I'm serious!" He says.
"I am not." I say.
"Are too."
"Am not."
This goes on for a few minutes until I stop it.
"What's that?" I say, pointing at the sky. There
was a massive cloud of smoke rising up into the air.
"Louis what is that?" I say.
"It looks like something is on fire."
I feel my face turning white. "That's where my house
is." I whisper.
He speeds up and we reach my house.
I let a few tears spill and jump out of the car.
Half of my house was engulfed in
flames.
