~ Chapter 4 ~
Belle's
P.O.V
The next morning I call Louis as soon as I get up and wait with
trembling fingers for him to pick up.
"Come on." I whisper to myself. "Wake up you lazy
a/s."
He picks up the phone and after a few seconds answers in a groggy
voice.
"Hello?"
I laugh. "Nice morning voice." I joke.
"It's so early!" He whines.
"It's 10 o'clock Lou."
"Yeah, like I said, too early!"
I roll my eyes and gather my books into my bag. "I have to
go to my exam soon, bt do you want to meet up for lunch after? I
should be done by about one."
"Yeah sure. Where?"
I think hard. Where do I even want to go?
"Uuum, how about, that place down the road from
thingy."
"Oh yeah, the place by whatsitsname." Louis replies in
a sarcastic voice.
"What?" I say innocently.
"How exactly am I supposed to know what 'thingy'
is?"
"You know! That..that place. The place that Niall
likes!"
"Ahhhh, Nando's?" He says.
"Yes! That's it!"
We talk about other things, exchange jokes and laugh.
I look at my watch. "Sh/t!" I yell. "It's
10:30! I have to be at my exam in 20 minutes! Sh/t, sh/t
sh/t!" I walk around my room, grab a hair brush and attempt
to tame my wild curls.
"I'll see you at one Louis, byee!" I say quickly
before hanging up.
I
quickly put on some skinny Hollister jeans and a plain V-neck
t-shirt. I slip on some flats and rush out the front door,
shouting a quick goodbye to everyone in my family.
I jump into my car and push the pedal down as far as I dare
without going over the speed limit. Normally I would be quite a
slow driver but i really needed to push the boat out if I was to
make it on time.

As it happens, I was acctually 5 minutes early for my exam.
I'm pretty sure I did quite well, though Science isn't
quite my strongpoint.
I think about my dream last night as I pull up beside
Nando's. I check my watch, 13:03.
I grab my bag and walk into the restaurant to see Louis has
already gotten us a table,
and a fresh wave of guilt washes over
me.

My dad is drunk.
It was funny at first but then he started crying for no apparent
reason...and right now he is telling me and my mum and my brother
how much he loves us.
Remind
me never to drink.
