26 people were killed
today.
Including 18 kids.
This school was in the town that neighbors mine.
I know those kids. Or, I knew them.
I know their parents. I know their older brothers, older
sisters.
I know that they were to unwrap Christmas and Hanukkah
presents.
Now those parents will have to look at those presents. And
wonder.
They will always wonder. Always.
Who would they have grown up to be?
What were they feeling in their last moments?
Will they remember those seconds?
Where are they now?
So please tell me. Was it worth it, looking into 18 pairs of
innocent, pleading, desperate eyes.
And shooting there, right inbetween them.
Rest in Peace, angels. We'll never forget you all.
