It's a psychological issue... If you can just stop because of favorites than you don't even have the problem most people usually have. I had to get medical treatment to stop and I still sometimes. I wish I could just stop because of faves but it isn't that easy ...

um, have you ever thought that maybe she needed an incentive? that doing it on her own wasn't enough and she feels so helpless that shes forced to bring it to others attention? yeah, i know about cutting. ive been there, as i know you have. but to tell someone not to ask for a little encouragement from others is wrong, just saying. not trying to hate, i just thought i'd put that out there. but also, i hope youre okay. i know how hard it is.
