Forever Ruined
Prologue
"Hey there little thing, you busy tonight?" a blonde supermodel looking guy asked me as I walked towards my new apartment. "Not that I'm aware of," I smirked, "Why, you doing something fun?" I asked playfully touching his shoulder. This made him smirk, "Well, it'll be fun if you go beautiful," he said taking my wrist and pulling a black sharpie out of nowhere. He scribbled an adress on my forearm, "Party starts at 11, show up in something hot and be ready for some real fun," he said and walked away. I winked at him and walked back up to my apartment.
"I'm sorry guys but I just cannot be friends with you two anymore. I mean, I guess we can still visit whenever I go down to Arizona but as of now, let's just not put each other through the pain," I whispered to my computer screen. Two faces were just looking at me blankly, "What?" Delilah Long, my best girl friend asked, stuttering as she tried not to cry. "Lya, do not cry. You cannot cry or else I might cry," I said, my voice cracking. My guy best friend, Jassen Kingsley just glared at me, "You're telling us you don't even want to be friends with us Ky! If that's what you want, fine, whatever. Bye." Jassen growled and shut the computer screen. "Jace wait!" I screamed, I couldn't believe it.
Rewind: My name is Kylinda Emilina Valentino, Kyli for short. My two now ex-best friends are Jassen "Jace" Kingsely and Delilah "Lya" Long. My mother abandoned me when I was seven months old, and my dad was never in the picture. I live with my adoptive family, Jessica and Johnathan Johnson and their children Jennifer (2), Joeseph (17), and Jared (15). Needless to say, people know that we aren't related. Their whole family is blonde and blue eyes and Irish/ German while I'm Italian with brown hair and brown eyes. Anyways, John works with record labels and decided it would be better to be closer to his corperate office in New York. He owns Universal Records which signed Demi Lovato, Fergie, Jay-Z, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Selena Gomez and The Scene, Taylor Swift, and The Band Perry. I try to avoid the record company as much as possible.
I sighed, now I was in New York and I had no one. I could try to find my father, he was supposed to live in New York according to what I had found on him. His name was Edward Valentino--I think. I shook my head, enough thinking, I was going to go out tonight and do something stupid; it was Halloween after all. I slipped on a skin-tight black dress and six-inch red stilettos, I grabbed some cat ears and did my make-up thinking of the blonde supermodel. I paused thinking of Jace and Lya, and how they would be so disaponted if they knew what I was doing. I shook the thought out of my head. 
Smiling in the mirror I whispered to myself, "You're going to do something stupid and reckless tonight, and you'll regret it later."
