No Happy Ending

||CHAPTER TWO||

Diana’s POV:

I’ve never seen anyone quite like him. His firm, muscular body, his eyes gleaming bright green in the dark, his hair dark as ashes, and his voice, deep and demanding. I swallowed, looking at him made feel uneasy. I wonder what this boy could have done to end up in here. But anyhow, I was glad that he was. I held my head high and said,

“What’s your name?”

He just stared at me with those catlike eyes.

“Jaden.” His voice was so low that I was barely able to make out what he had said. Jaden. I smiled. Even his name made him sound charming and, well...irresistible. He was becoming inpatient.

“Why am I here?” he asked, clutching his cell bars and looking at me in a way which made my heart sink.

“Why don’t you tell me that?” I said, smiling. He continued to stare at me.

“I didn’t do anything wrong.” He was angry; this made him appear even more attractive. God, I was losing my mind. I bit my lip.

“I’m sure you didn’t. But then again, you wouldn’t be here if you hadn’t done anything wrong.” I smiled.

He groaned, “Who are you?”

“My name is Diana.” I gave him one last smile and left.
