Chapter 8 // B.O.T.S., no jocking

Alaine woke up, her pillow wet from tears. It was Saturday. She looked at her phone, zero messages. She laid in bed for a couple more minutes until she forced herself to get up, brush her teeth and shower. She texted Lexi to ask if she could come over. Lexi said of course and invited Brooke too. Alaine just wanted a day with her girls, she put her hair in a ponytail, put on sweats, a tee shirt, and her worn out converse. She grabbed her lacrosse stick and walked over to Lexi's house. She thought to herself and admitted; It was pathetic, liking a guy who doesn't like you back. Stuck in the friend zone forever, just pathetic. Then as she turned on to Lexi's block she saw him in front of his grandparents house. It completely slipped her mind that his grandparents lived next door to Lexi. Alaine blushed when she saw him but tried to ignore he was there, until he yelled her name. You know that feeling when butterflies fill up your stomach, your voice gets shakey and you start fiddling with your hair so you stop your hands from shaking too. Yeah, thats exactly what Alaine experiences everytime she sees him or even hears his voice. Of course he always seems to  notice Alaine when she looks like poop. Always, there's never a time when Edwin actually notices her when she looks decent, except of course that one time at the dance. 

Edwin: "Hey Alaine" He smiled with that goofy, but so adorable smile of his. 

Alaine: "Oh hey Edwin! Um, i didnt see you there, i dont have my contacts in" She lied, she could see him perfectly. His blue eyes looked into her brown ones. Edwin moved really close to her, Alaine stopped breathing.

Edwin: "Can you see me now" He smiled, he was a meer inch away from her face. Alaine's face was so red.

Alaine: "Uh yeah" She smiled and Edwin backed away.

Edwin: "So where are you going?" He tilted his head slightly

Alaine: "Lexi's for a girls night" She blushed more

Edwin: "Alright then i'll see you later" He smiled and walked inside his grandparents house. 

Alaine just blankly walked next door to Lexi's. She just needed to confirm that, the moment she just had, truly happened and that she didnt pass out when she saw him and dreamt of everything. When it hit her that it did happen she started fangirling at Lexi's door
